I was in Afghanistan with army special forces back right after 9-11. You guys are the heat. The air Force is retarded for wanting to replace the A10. Years ago I got to participate in CAS training with an ATAC . We gave the hawgs from Pope a difficult target for their gun run. The atac wanted to show us how to think about the pilots perspective when giving a target grid. The hawgs were linen up wrong after their release point (we could see it from the ground) so we sent a correction and all they had to do was a quick jog of the wings and they were dead on. Love the burrrrrp!

I'm a marine and you guys were doing some training with a couple of those hawgs at camp lejune one day several years ago.me and 15 other Marines were sitting on a log at the wood line eating chow and we seen the hawgs flying around an thought nothing about it... UNTILL... You guys shot the cannon off and I'll tell ya,those trees intensified the sound and we all jumped up,took off running at the same time cause we thought our asses had been had!! After a few seconds of our gunny laughing at us,he said..I knew that was gonna happen, just didn't know when..GOOD TIMES!!! We Marines have RESPECT for the A-10's

Many hours of enjoyment, I build scale static models and love WW2 and modern planes , the amount of detail and time , can take up to one year for a 1/24 scale plane so, At least this project , you get to fly !!! The finished project and stick it in a cabinet ,well done , very inspirational to someone trying to follow your steps , I wouldn’t know where to start, so wish I was your neighbour , definitely leaving money on top of your fridge every time I would sit in this incredible simulator, well done , your father must , has to be very proud !
