You'd think that big dork in the back would know how to march in step.

Bass percussion is great. Tempo needs to go up slightly.

I heard the johnny shot their hats off because they tought the black hats were tall but they just shot the hats off them and they considered them an invincible force. Not sure how true that story is but you go to gettysburg and other areas the black hat brigade was they got few hats with holes

It's actually correct(i think). They're doing it in the War of 1812 style, and for some reason back then they liked to use slower tempos for marches until they realized armies were getting places too slowly xd

@@arfyego0682 It had nothing to do with that. I triple-dog-dare anybody to march shoulder-to-shoulder and lock-stepped at anything faster than 120bpm *and* keep it clean. It's not gonna happen. Though, you're right. This is about 90bpm, and is entirely correct for pretty much any line-infantry period. Quote Infantry Tactics, 1825, School of the Soldier--Part III: "253. (sic) Common time, ninety steps in a minute. Plummet, seventeen inches and thirty-eight hundredths's (sic) of an inch in length. 354. Quick time, one hundred and twenty steps in a minute. Plummet, nine inches and seventy-eight hundredth's (sic) of an inch in length. [...] 358. With the exception of the oblique step, the quick time is that which will generally be ordered in all interior movements of battalions, and other corps, as in wheelings, filings, and successive formations generally." This was the norm in the 1820's but I'd humbly argue it was also the norm for three decades before and perhaps another two after.
