Greetings gentlemen, I hope that yourself or someone in your comment section can enlighten me here. I read somewhere that boron nitride nanotubes or other 2D materials can turn plastic into a material similar or better than carbon fiber in terms of strength, stiffness and rigidity. Is this an exaggeration or there’s some true to it ? Thank you in advance

Glad that you liked this short introductory video. There are 1000's of 2D materials having insulating, semiconducting, semimetallic, metallic, superconducting properties and so the applications. Therefore, there is wide scope for research on 2D materials from fundamental to various applications. I work on 2D semiconductor and graphene for memory and optoelectronic applications. For me, research in the field of contact engineering and doping in 2D semiconducting material is appealing. Hope it may help you and good luck!
