Hi, very good tutorial. I have one question about clock. We have external oscillator connected to xtal pins and do not have any clock signal on these pins. Capacitors are 27pF, Vcc connected. Do we have any program to start the clock signal?

Do you mean you've connected external square wave clock? It should go to xtal2 pin and gnd, no other code needed to start it, it'll be automatically detected

Yes, 12Mhz external clock. Is it possible the chip is damaged? We've already ordered new one and the situation is the same. No clock signal on xtal pins. Any ideas what else should we check?
