So...my setup.. Channel 1 is front speaker components. Channel 2 is rear deck coaxial. Channel 3 is sub. Since channel 1 is powering the speakers(woofers and tweeters) through a crossover, should i NOT sum channel 1 and 2 on the lc7i? Should they all be seperate with auto mode jumper OFF?

Hey these videos are great. I've watched all three parts and this one seems to apply to my set up. I have a 17' Ford Fusion with the Sony system. So from this video I would plug front door left and right tweeters from Sony amp into input one. Then plug front door mid range left and right speakers into input two. And the sub left and right outputs from Sony amp into input three on the LCI. Since I didn't use the rear tweeter or mid range outputs from the Sony amp. I'll likely loose fade capability right ? No problem. My question is about the outputs. So obviously output three would go to my mono 2 channel amp powering my sub. Are output channels one and two on the lc7i the summed signals of inputs 1&2 (tweeters and mids?). So id plug one set of rcas into main output 1 and another set into channel 2 output and run both to my 4 channel speaker amp? Which is then wired back to the front and rear door component speakers. ?

Great info, can channel 2 still be summed to provide an output if there are no inputs on the main channel, with channel 3 remaining separate and the auto jumper switched off?

Hey guys thanks for posting the Audiocontrol vids. Hoping you can offer some expertise on my setup: Which inputs should I use on the LC7i if I only have a 4 channel amp (two channels for highpass, two channels for the sub). I will only be utilizing the front speaker and sub outputs from my factory Logic7 amp. In addition, I plan on using the acr1 remote knob.

Thank you. Leave it in the factory default settings. Use input 1 for front and input 3 for the sub. Use output 1 for front and 3 for sub. The bass knob will control channel 3 only. I hope this helps if you need anything else let us know.

+Five Star Car Stereo if you have more then one front channel set it up just like we show you in the video. Example front tweeter and front midrange. If not, do first recommendations.

Thanks for the reply, I'll give it a shot and let you know how it goes! In the meantime, does the LC7i perform bass restoration, with channel summing, or do I need the epicenter for bass restoration. I didn't go with the epicenter since it only has one input...

ok... So I have pioneer 3-way door speakers for front and rear doors. There is no 6x9 on this build. I do plan to add a subwoofer. However, the type of speakers I have are not separate tweeter slash mid woofer. Do I need a LC7i to run this type setup since the front and rear are running full sound. Can I put the fronts on one channel and the rear on the other and then use the bass only for the subs. Or, I need both channel 1 and 2 separate for the front and rear then let auto mode do it's thing for the sub? Sounds confusing. I have a 2018 Honda Civic Hatchback and was told the stock stereo runs in 2ohms. Any help thank you.

I have a 2013 gmc Denali crew cab with the bose surround and a factory touch screen w/DVD . I also have a set of rockford amps a 4 channel and a mono I was wanting to swap out the speakers and add a sub along with retain the factory head unit and steering wheel will this unit do what I am needing ? Or will I need something else or will I need to add something as in the lines of Pac audio stuff or what

I have to use one of these and i am putting in and arc audio xdi 1200.6, if you know the specs to the amp, would i somehow be able to get 600 watts to a single dvc 4ohm sub?

I have a question, I want to retain the factory head unit, add only a single 12" sub, and also want to amp my door speakers. There is only the front and rear door speakers and front tweeters. How many channels would the amp need and would the lc7 work? How would I do the input into the lc7? Sorry I'm extremely good mechanically and with electrical yet sound just baffles me ( I know it's electrical also lol ) thanks appreciate any help. Car in question is a 2011 Chevy Cruze if that helps

Yes the lc7i would work great. Your radio should only have 4 powered outputs, front and rear. This will be the basic install on the LC. You may also want to check out the LCQ1, it is basically an LC7i with and eq.

Do you need all 4 speaker line inputs from the factory amp or can you use two like you're doing here? I want to run tweeters off main one and channel 2 I want to run mids. Can I use the front only full range signal from the factory to put the left tweeter/mids into +- and the right side tweeter/mid in the same way?

Scott Miller you can run the front Tw into main and the front mid into the second set of inputs. You just have to sum the inputs to get a full range output.

The problem with my system is the front L+ and L- are ran in parallel so my tweeters and mids are on the same channel.

Scott Miller ok so the front are full range with no need to sum. You can just run the fronts into main. If you are not going to use rear and have no factory sub, the lc2i would work.

HWk Fan yes, it will give you a sub output and the bass boost.

thanks for all the info on the videos , I have a 2017 Silverado and going to use only my rear outputs but don't know the range that they produce to feed the ic7 and feed 2 amps one for the rear doors and one for sub . How should I connect the level inputs ( main or ch 2) and I want mainly mids going to the new rear door speakers JL Audio C3-650 and for bass is Infinity BassLink SM thank you for the help

I have the Lc7i and only need it to power my subwoofer channel and I am using the high level output to the factory subwoofer to send signal to the LC7i. What is the best way to configure the unit to do this? Thanks

Do you need the GTO turn on for the amp?

+hbracer93 if you run the speaker wire output to both the main and channel 3, you can use the gto and channel 3 with the AccuBass.

I see, so make a jumper from the main input to channel 3 and run the RCA's to channel 3 to get the accubase, turn off Auto right? And its ok to be using the actual subwoofer wires to feed the LC7i? I am going to jumper it tomorrow, I can tell I really need the accuBass. I have a factory 15 speaker Bose system and it seams the factory woofer doesn't like to play certain frequencies. It will hit the deep long notes, but misses all the short punchy notes. Hopefully the AccuBass will fix this. If not I will look to use the rear speaker wires to input the LC7i and jumper to channel 2 and leave it in Auto to use channel 3. You guys are the greatest thanks for the help.

new head unit $850 or LC7i $190 keeping factrory head unit mustang 2014 sound upgrade- does bad souce mean bad sound? want to upgrade 2014 mustang shaker 500 microsoft syn factory installed, no touch screen is now 1 din - 2 choices are one, a new head unit kenwood 9903s $550 touch screen with maestro idalink $200 to use current steering wheel controls and car talk=total $850 vs choice 2, a audiocontrol loc either lc7i $190 or lcQ1 $300 with 11 band equalizer and no new head unit. the loc choice means no andoid auto and no eventuall backuip camera. new & not yet installed in the trunk- jl audio xd700/ 5v2 amp 75rms x4 &300rmsx1, 2 pair(4 speakers) jl audio c5-650x coaxil speakers 2 sets new gift to me, 1 jl audiostealthbox 13.5 inch woofer unused for trunk, 2 of ( dont remember why 2 from 8 years ago my last noob install) kenwood xr-1s mono subwoofer amps( 700w rms at 2ohm) the factory mustang head unit has no rca out, believe is 22rms out. Im happy with factory setup controls, dont need either a touch screen or( backup camera(costs $100 to $160) but sound is 2nd rate and I keep my cars for 12 years or more. Would you replace the head unit for $850 or use the audiocontrol loc $200 or $300-- the $300 loc (LCQ1) has 11 band equalizer vs 4 band on factory hewad unit? the kenwood head unit is kenwoods newest top of line. but the $500 saved on only the Loc could be used for soundproofing . The noob in me says a bad source (factory herad unit) gives bad sound but with the Loc im processing the sound feeding my aftermarket jl audio amps. Im a total noob and never used LOc's before. Please give an opinion

file1man I'm a believer it that if you can replace the radio do it. Unless your factory radio has the ability to have preamp output. ( PAC Amp Pro).
