If you're going to give any suggestions/tips to new composting students then, which area of expertise in Compositing would you suggest to improvise in their skills. Great tutorials and webinar Hugo! I'm a matte painter but realize more and more that having extensive comp knowledge is very helpful once working on shots that include dmp's. I was wondering if you share any of your scripts through your education schemes? Are they optional for example once you sing up for your Patreon?
@HugosDesk
@HugosDesk 5 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for the kind words. Yes it is true, note an more DMP is being done in Nike so makes perfect sense. Regarding the scripts, yes if you support my Patreon on te $25 or above you get the Nuke script and a few frames from the comp of that month’s tutorial. I hope to see you on Patreon. www.patreon.com/hugosdesk

Sorry but I do a lot of videos and streams. They take a lot of time to make. I am trying my friend but I need to prioritise my work since KZbin only pays like £100 per month at the moment. It’s too little. They don’t support small creators like me. Sorry

Question: does having so many shuffle nodes slow down the comp and how do you figure out whats wrong if you comp doesnt look like the beauty
@HugosDesk

Not really, It is pretty fast. Never had issues. Regarding the beauty not matching, if you minus all the passes from the beauty you get whatever is missing. That way you can request CG from any missing passes. Cheers
