I've heard "to the order of" referred to as "the language of negotiability" and " magic language ", I'm by no means an expert in contract law and I'd love anyone's opinion concerning this...

Nearly every jurisdiction has held that the word "shall" is confusing because it can also mean "may, will or must." Legal reference books like the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure no longer use the word "shall." Even the Supreme Court ruled that when the word "shall" appears in statutes, it means "may." Practicing contract lawyer here. This is absolutely not correct, and I wouldn't want this comment to mislead anyone.

Approximately 1 minute in, and I'm wondering if this video comes with a dictionary... lol Edit: Oh, lookie. There it is! ^_^ Or, well, -A- dictionary. Albeit not for all of the professional language words --which I assume is everyday language for someone who knows Law to begin with, but a bit less familiar to those who don't.
