The Vietnam war variant of CF called Incoming! also drops down a level to where MG are based separately and each infantry base is a fire team.

Epic, I'd love to see tanks in crossfire

Crossfire is a fun game as far as infantry combat goes. It really does make you think like a company commander and use good tactics. Unfortunately the armor rules leave something to be desired. I o,ayes a lot of CF until I found Chain of Command by Too Fat Lardies. If you haven’t played it, I highly recommend it
