Can you deploy a compiled binary as a stand alone? or does it always need the PAServer and ran from IDE? if so do you have a link so I can download an example compiled binary to test on linux?

Of course, a linux binary built with FMXLinux can be run without PAServer. You need the PAServer only for debugging and fast deployment to the target system.
