You don't take the deli plate out of the pan? How do you store the plate?

No, I just keep it in the tray and print on the top. I store the tray in a cupboard covered with another upside down tray. I find it lasts longer if you never expose the base of the plate. When the top is worn out though, I do then take it out and print on the base. When it is really tatty, I just reconstitute it. Why didn't you turn the plate out? No wonder you were so concerned about bubbles. If you use the other side there are never any bubbles as the rise to the side you are using.
