Thank you for this. 10th House Pluto is the most powerfly-aspected planet in my chart making a 0° and 2° trine to Mercury and Mars, and a 0° sextile to Neptune, all three of which are squaring the Nodes at 0° and 2°. There is no option BUT to be fascinated with Pluto when it casts such a strong shadow over a chart. Very excited for these lessons, hope to catch a live stream!

i have pluto in the 10th too, conjunct mars and sq venus, opp moon, quinxcux chiron, sextile neptune (altho that is one is generational), and trine/sexitle the nodes. it's a bit much!

Thank you. You didn't mention a conjunction to Pluto. Do you consider that a hard aspect?

Definitely. As a general rule, all the angular aspects are more catalyzing by their nature: conjunction, opposiion, square. And also the semi squares and sesquiquadrates.

What does it mean when your natal Pluto is conjunct natal north node on the Asc/12th? Is my entire life path about evolving my subconscious via loss?

I'd have to see it in context, but in general any plan on the north north is an ongoing evolutionary intention.
