Dear Professor, A boy in year 4 showed me how to erase text on a smart board. Take your pen and draw a circle around the text to be erased, then tap the inside of the circle with your finger. The text disappears like magic. This might save you some time. Thank you for your fascinating lectures.

I'm a third year criminology/criminal justice student, and I like to brush up on my sociology knowledge, seeing as sociology underpins criminology. Fascinating stuff.

I heard the whole lecture and I found it interesting. The part about people having different names and how they come from different cultures peaked my interest. Eleanor, I didn't know it was a common name. And the part about crime data sounded pretty accurate to me. Some women don't report being raped usually out of guilt and embarrassment. According to studies. Thanks for the lecture.

min 24 example, did it rally not occur to them that the anglo name would help assimilation. I myself have consciously thought and discussed this, and I know many other people who have consciously adopted a name of the new country we moved into. Will have to read the book! Thanks for referring to the title, we can go find it ourselves too here off youtube.

Is the point he's trying to make, that assimilation is a subconscious or conscious attempt when for example ; naming and changing external characteristics

Ethan Arabmoney yeah that you think your just naming the child for your own liking but really there's generation's of culture/anticulture behind it

I'm not understanding how rape can not be clear. Regardless of marital status, gender, sexuality, race, sex, sexual experience or lack thereof, culture, ability etc, if someone does not want to engage in sex, it's rape. End of. It really is that simple.

The complexity is there in establishing the consent... It is tricky
