In the True Tradition,,a snaffle was never used..My grandfather had a snaffle in the tack room,to show people,he knew what one was but,i never saw it go in a colts mouth..

Yes I agree that the snaffle was never used in the true tradition. I commend anyone who can get it done with a bosal. For functionality, convenience, and efficiency I use a snaffle. It's what works for me, not saying it's the only way, just the way I learned
