My CASIO CT-S300 arrived last week. Very well designed panel layout on a solid quality build. The matte keybed is better than many expensive synthesizers and the pitch bend wheel and speakers are small and sturdy. The comp sheet music rest is a nice addition. 400 tones plus 77 rhythms and the Dance Music mode that allows you to build EDM tracks provides a lot of sound and the Function button opens up an impressive amount of additional sound shaping, including multiple reverb types and programmable pitch bend range. This instrument is loaded and to me worth way more than the market price.

I know this is an old comment, but I'm answering in case it's helpful to anyone else. This keyboard is velocity sensitive, meaning it's louder or quieter depending on how suddenly you hit the keys. A pro would probably need something more sensitive, but I've been able to get an adequate variety of volumes out of it. Good for starting out, practicing and playing informally.

I just got my S200 today, it does have speaker issues. 1) When you play it via local speakers it doesn't show much, the sound is just 'lower quality' on average. 2) Plugging in a headphone and setting 'volume' high enough to hear via headphones and you will notice the problem, massive distortion when you hit lower note keys that has to do with 'vibrations' frequencies. 3) Plugging in the USB to use as midi, when you use the keyboard as a 'playback' it fails to properly play most sounds from the PC and if you mess with the tones on the piano while it's playing back, you end up with 'broken' distortions looping if you play certain ones, which can make the speaker extremely loud at low volumes. I think there is a 'board' issue with how the controller is designed or utilized, since I am using much 'newer' software than the keyboard can handle digitally.
@dra6o0n4 жыл бұрын
It works fine as a 'controller' for PC Midi playback for the most part so long as you use your headphones elsewhere, not on the keyboard, to rely on the keyboard's speaker/audio out playback is a fatal flaw if not for the basic piano tones.
