Over 1600 rapid now, maybe 1350 at blitz. I sometimes mix in older games.

If you were facing this opening, might you try and castle long to put the King away from the bishop/ diagonal threat? My approach to offered gambits, I'm rated 830ish, is usually to take the pawn and then start developing and make no particular attempt to unnecessarily defend my pawn. I assume the other player knows more than I do about his line so my response is to largely ignore what they are offering. Not sure if it is the right thing to do but feels ok at my level.

Yes, you shouldn't generally try to protect your extra pawn in a gambit, but also remember you may have lost a tempo in the capture. In the Danish, if black gets to castle, he's usually better.

Ng4 was at risk to fork white queen and rook but he missed it. Does This means that in this gambit we should think of castling early

I can't say for sure. It's definitely part of the plan to prevent black from castling if at all possible.

Can you do one on the Sicilian defence nadorf or Ruy Lopez?

Yes, i think i will change from the Scandinavian Defence to the Danish Gambit, its a bit risky, but i have had good experience with it before. :)

Best of luck! I love it! You can also try a slightly less scary version with capturing the pawn on c3 with your knight instead of going "Full Danish" giving up another pawn but with the double bishop attack.

@@ChessBootCamp I said change it with the Scandinavian, but that is when i play black i use that, and i don`t want to leave my London system yet. Maybe i can try to push the Danish Gambit with black also? I must try this against a computer now.. :)

@@ChessBootCamp I am embarrassed to say, but i was not even able to find out how to play as black against the bots at chess.com.. I know how to save a game and then play that, so i will try it that way. :)

@@HrRezpatex Select the bot, click the big "Choose" button, then you'll see under the bot picture an "I play as" control. That's where you select white / black / random.
