This is game changing for me doron. Your cue to leave the head in the center was crucial for me and I could feel my legs were shaking when I was more on the back side of heel. Thanks a ton for this video

Woah! Having been told one leg is shorter and always having walked to the RIGHT side (I’ve “forced” lots of people to steer to the right), I find that crossing my left leg over the right leg to be a real challenge when trying to put my weight on to the left. I can feel MANY differences all the way from my feet to my head. This is THE lesson for me!!! Thank you!!!!!!

Keep on trying this lesson-it works (for me anyhow). You could just try it small segments!

@@natalag3411 great advice! Break it down into maller sequences. Gentle. Little inquiries. And always keep comfort and safety as central themes.

Very very interesting as i have had challenges around walking due to uneven weight loading from scoliosis. I will work with this and explore other videos of yours.

I tried to do this as instructed, i did not manage everything in one go. The breathing was released almost immediately.

Thanks for the comment. I come back to this lesson myself quite often. It feels a little different each time. Like juggling a few different constraints simultaneously. Sometimes I feel like I am a complete beginner and that's actually the best, as I learn the most that way. Thanks again. Doron

Also by doing this correctly my neck is free , my chest breathing is better because rib cage is liberated and I can do better thoracic extension and glutes are more engaged

Thank you for your video. I have ms and have difficulty in walking. Would you be able to recommend a feldenkrais book for this.?thanks
@InfiniteMovement5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment Melanie. If you're asking about a book that addresses walking specifically, I personally don't know of any. But I recommend watching a few of my other other videos on walking on the Infinite Movement KZbin Channel. There are some really basic, useful ones. And there are a few other videos of other practitioners (Tessa, Patric, Andrew and Alicia all have really interesting videos that address walking directly and indirectly.) Enjoy! Doron
