Oh boy, this is going to be an interesting series. Might as well give my two cents before it begins For Sonic, it's obvious that Ryan Drummond is the superior voice actor for Sonic. But I would have to give an honorable mention to Jason Griffith as well. He also does a really good job portraying Sonic as well, especially in Sonic Unleashed and Sonic And The Black Knight. For Tails, this is going to be an unpopular opinion, but Conner Bringas is my favorite voice actor for Tails. He does a really good job filling in that little bro role that Tails is supposed to play, and he actually sounds like a kid while being tolerable at the same time. That's really hard to do, so I tip my hat to him. For Knuckles, it's really obvious, Scott Dreier. He does an outstanding job filling in the loner role that Knuckles is supposed to portray. And he doesn't sound like an obnoxious tempered idiot (Travis, Dan). Those are my opinions, can't wait to hear yours Pentacle!

My Sonic dream cast (heh) Sonic: Josh Keaton Keaton plays Spider Man in recent television shows on Disney XD. Keaton would be perfect for Sonic seeing how Spider Man and Sonic have similar personalities and attitudes. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fYurpZSNoqmVhNE Tails: Michelle Ruff as Carl Clover from Blazblue Both character have similar voices but Carl sounding more "older" and both characters being highly intelligent wiz kids. Knuckles: Steven Blum as in Spike Spiegel Very ambitious and high profile actor but I can imagine him playing Knuckles. Blum would bring out Knuckles' calm and chill side. Amy: Laura Bailey Just one more chance as another Sonic character. Shadow: Lex Lang as Goemon from Lupin the Third Plays plenty of edgy characters during his career. Eggman: Clancy Brown as.....all of his villain roles. Plays plenty of dark and sinister yet sometimes comical villians. Other miscellaneous or forgotten characters that have potential such as. . . Mighty: Tony Oliver as Lupin The Third His personality in the comic would be pretty nice with Tony Oliver's Lupin the Third voice. Fang/Nack: Greg Ellis as Rocket Raccoon Rocket Racoon's cockney accent from Marvel vs Capcom 3 would fit with Fang's look. Bean: Some goofball voice actor that can do a zany voice. This includes . . . Tom Kenny, Billy West, Rob Paulsen, Nolan North, Jess Harnell, Melissa Fond, Mel Blanc's ghost etc.

For me: Sonic: Jason Griffith or Yuri Lowenthal (the latter being a replacement for RCS in case they replace him) If they ever decide to give Classic Sonic a voice, it should be Martin Burke or someone who sounds like him. Tails: Amy Palant or Kate Higgins Amy Rose: Lisa Ortiz Knuckles: Dan Green (so far from hearing Forces' cutscenes, Travis Willingham is doing a really good job as Knuckles now so if he keeps that up, I say keep him) Shadow: Jason Griffith or David Humphrey Silver: Pete Capella or Quinton Flynn Rouge: Whoever is voicing her right now Blaze: Laura Bailey Eggman: Mike Pollock

The only ones that need to change are Sonic, Amy, and Shadow. Kirk Thornton sounds like he's trying to hard to sound like the antithesis to Sonic's persona. It sucks too, because I know he can perform well with a dark voice for other characters he's played, like Kisame Hoshigaki from Naruto or Saix from KH for instance. He just can't seem to perform well as Shadow. So I'd recommend Crispin Freeman or Matthew Mercer. I still feel Ryan Drummond is the only voice for Sonic and will always be the only voice for him. However since he's been away from the series for years now I doubt his performance will be as good as in the SA era, he might sound too 90's as well. So I'd recommend bringing back Jason Griffith or getting Yuri Lowenthal to replace Roger Craig Smith who is not a bad VA...just a bad Sonic. Cindy Robinson, again not a bad VA but a terrible Amy. Whenever I see Amy I hear Lisa Ortiz and that's who they should bring back for future installments. Everyone else is fine IMO.

You know, if I can't go with either Ryan Drummond or Jason Griffith as Sonic, I think I'd most likely say… Yuri Lowenthal (no offense to Roger Craig Smith or any of his fans; I think Roger's a decent Sonic, if nothing else). IMO, Yuri's performance as Simon from Gurren Lagann has some traits that are similar to Sonic's (at least from the second half of the 11th episode onward, if that makes any sense to you). With that said, I think Yuri would be a great choice for Sonic.
