A bit of advice, but you should watch german movies. My suggestion is Der Nanny, Schlussmacher, and What a Man. They're all from the same studio, and don't use a huge vocab and are usually entertaining enough/widely appealing. Watch them and repeat what they say and listen to what they say so you can learn to listen (which at first can be harder than speaking). This helped me when I was biking through Berlin and Postdam. I could ask for directions, and order without things being too big of a hassle.

well, luckily Dutch sounds and works like German (compared to English), so this is actually really easy to understand, especially now I know the difference between "du" and "sie", I didn't know German had this informal and formal way too, this really cleared some questions I had about the use of certain German words.

it's a really good video and I like so much the space you give us to talk back, I find them very usefull. I think the speaking is so important and should be early in learnig, if you could help us with that, it would be good, I dont only mean the pronunciation, but i find it hard like the way your words flow, like in the video you say bis Später and the last s in bis and the begining in Später sound like one, like the flow of it, it would give us more confidence for listening and talking. danke
