What is unethical about the paparazzi’s recoding this incident was that they put money over the wellbeing of Kate, her child and the public by not checking on her and if required preventing her from driving when she appears not only distraught but also drug/t affected. I couldn’t care less about celebs being filmed in public. I do care when media vultures put aside basic human compassion and community expectations by failing to intervene in this particular case.

She was clearly struggling and appeared impaired. At the very least police should have been called to ensure she was able to drive. A hands off approach is paramount to culpability should a tragic event follow.

I commend you for using the term "impaired" and not going straight for the drunk/drugs assumption. There are a lot of things that can impact people emotionally, mentally and physically that have nothing to do with alcohol or drugs, and that also make driving in those states extremely questionable. The day I found out my mother had 12 months to live, I drove 2 of my children to the supermarket, something we did very regularly, but this day I got in a minor (thank goodness), single car fender bender, and looking back I can now see that there is no way I should have been driving that day because I was "impaired". ​@@J.Cameron.Stuart.Adams.
