പടിഞ്ഞാറൻ നാടുകളിലും ഇംഗ്ലണ്ടിലും നിയമം ഇതേക്കാൾ അയഞ്ഞതാണ്. ഇവിടുത്തെ Indian Penal Code പണ്ട് ഇംഗ്ലീഷുകാർ എഴുതിയതുതന്നെയാണ്. അതിൽ വളരെക്കുറച്ചു മാറ്റങ്ങളെ കേന്ദ്രം മോദിക്ക് മുമ്പ് ഭരിച്ച കാൺഗ്രെസ്സ് സർക്കാർ കൊണ്ടുവന്നിട്ടുള്ളു. ഇക്കാര്യം നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് നെറ്റിൽ നിന്ന് മനസ്സിലാക്കാം.
