Although Doug Wilkinson was an independent writer and filmmaker, your thanks should also be directed towards the NFB (the National Film Board of Canada)! They supported and nurtured an incredible amount of talent and accomplishment during the past 85 years or more! 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦 📷 🎥 📸 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Film_Board_of_Canada

Is it a coincidence that one of histories worst oil spills wipes out the seal population in this area never to return? I don't think it was a coincidence at all.

Theres a huge seal population on baffin island, and "let's waste huge amounts of oil to mess with the Eskimos" sounds pretty dubious

I want to change the name of NorthWest Territories to Inuk. So you would have Yukon, Inuk and Nunavut.

Although the NWT is the home of the Inuit people of the Mackenzie Delia and the Beaufort Sea (the Inuvialuit), Dene and other First Nations' peoples' traditional lands cover the vast majority of that huge Canadian territory. The NWT has about ten official languages, of which Inuvialuitun is one! 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦

"Inuit" means 'the people' in Inuktitut. It's a plural term "Inuk" refers to a single Inuit person, whether male or female! 'Hardly an appropriate name for a territory! When Nunavut was created in 1999 from the Eastern Canadian Arctic portion of the NWT and the areas north of the tree line, there was an official poll in the NWT in order to consider names for the remaining portion of the territory. "Bob" polled highest, followed by "Restofit" (the Rest of It). The third favourite option of retaining the original and historic Canadian name was officially adjudicated! Who says even northern Canadians don't have a sense of humour? 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦

What would kid's do today without their Xbox or play station?without everyone helping out it would be very hard to survive. Most of AMERICAN'S wouldn't know how to survive if something would happen and we must go back to the ol way to live, how many knows how to can?butcher a animal?smoke some of the meat to last?don't forget you'll need a lot and i mean alot of wood to stay warm and cook. The thing is i believe in our lifetime we will have a situation come that we will need to survive with no computer's and no help from our government.Sure i maybe wrong but i doubt i am! Good luck to the none gun owners..GOD BLESS.

Really?? Disney music to accompany the slaughter of the whale? It isn't a Disney movie. It is the taking of a life. The Inuit have every right to hunt and kill the whale to feed their families...but don't play Disney music. Respect. It's about respect.
