There really was man. One of the most nostalgic things I can think of because it happened so often and regularly. And also impossible to recreate. You can never get all of the pieces together for it to feel the same. You can watch those old shows, late at night or super early, even on an old TV with the volume down low, but it'll never be how it was. Makes me sad in a way but also glad I can remember it so vividly.

Hell yeah, 30 gang represent! I too remember being 13 and watching Inuyasha - first on Adult Swim, then torrenting the Japanese episodes on Kazaa. It was one of the first anime I got into. Being able to have this magical fantasy world to escape to gave me temporary freedom from abuse. Even reading Inuyasha fanfic was fun. There was a community of writers and readers, and even roleplayers, that gave me a sense of community. Sounds silly, but when you're abused at home and invisible at school, that kind of thing really helps.

I always get goosebumps when I listen to the melody of the InuYasha Theme 💕😌 It is so soothing, sad and beautiful it has this air of melancholy to it. And for me so many memories of the adventure of Kagome, Inuyasha, Sango, Miroku and Chipo. Even the other Characters like Naraku, Sesshōmaru, Koga and of course Kikyō are so interesting. I think Inuyasha is one of the few Anime which shaped how I feel about love and acceptance as a kid. Kagome is one of my most favorite female character in Anime and Manga I connect to her and think she is a great role model. She is strong, loyal, smart, giving and has a beautiful soul. As a kid I watched the Anime but as a adult I read the Manga when I had my heart broken after my first relationship ended. And I don’t know Reading the Manga helped me so much to kinda sort out my feelings. It has this sensible but also at times over the top funny touch to it. Which I think is so good. Wow 😂 Haha guess I kinda rambled there for a bit 😉 Thank you for uploading this really cool mix of one of my favorite stories out there 💕

This show will always be my comfort and safe place, It’d be nice to go back to the days of staying up late waiting for bleach or kekaishi to go off to see two episodes of this and fall asleep to My will or Fukai Mori.

Dated this girl 3 years ago, we were together for just over 10 years. Our relationship formed via a shared love for Inuyasha. She was my Kagome, and I was her Inuyasha. But three years ago, it all came crashing down, and i learned, she wasn't my Kagome, she was my Kikyo. She's not here anymore, and its taken me just over 3 years to get right. And now i can't listen to any of these tracks without feeling a sense of nostalgia and longing. Wishing i can wake up 3 years ago and feel that same happiness i once felt.

I would stay up till midnight to watch Inuyasha, even if I was tired I would still wait till the episode was over. Inuyasha meant so much more to me than a “show” or “anime”. As a little girl who was incredibly shy and socially awkward, with no friends. It showed me to be brave and to have someone to look up to, Kagome. It showed me how to be compassionate and to trust others. Without it I wouldn’t be the person I am today. ♡︎

It sounds cheesy, but its a life I never lived, but I'm still content to be reminded of. the show is part of me, and honestly, so is this lofi mix considering how many times Ive watched it on repeat

Coming back now over 15 years later its every bit as good as I remember.

My fondest childhood memories was staying up past the toonami commercials and watching "inyuyoshi" with my daddy. We'd curl up on the couch, or he'd eat a bowl of cereal while the episode started. I remember always loving bed time cause I knew if it was the weekend we'd be catching up together while watching the next episode. In all reality it probably didn't happen as often as I think, but I would still diligently stay up when he and my mom split and pretend like he was still there. In a way this beautiful little anime was my whole childhood, or at least the good parts.

this is a mood. you hit me right in the feels. inuyasha has always had my heart from day one. staying up late, sneaking downstairs so my parents didnt hear my brother and i watching the show. taught me a few lessons. years ago i revisited the show on youtube when ALL the episodes where uploaded onto this platform. rewatched it many times and it never gets old. now at 26 im rewatching with my boyfriend and seeing him grow fond of the show. so much joy. this video is so calming. much needed nowadays in 2020. glad i came across it! tysm.
