It's quite amazing to watch scenes from really old anime, mostly to see how far the animators have come. Here it's mostly comprised of still images and black screens with a red slash on top, compared to todays elaborate full motion animations where we see more or less every movement.

I think its more of the fact that he was ENJOYING a mindless rampage. Imagine waking up with blood on your hands and you realise you killing literally anyone you see for fun. Plus, Im pretty sure Inuyasha would have tried killing his friends if sesshomaru didn't show up. So that loss of control IS terrifying.

Makes me wonder about Inuyasha's inner demon form strength note: He generated a barrier in that cocoon that widened it enough for him to use his Iron reemer attack, something Miroku was barely doing to begin with but he's human sure. But Sure he couldn't beat Shesshomaru head-on with tokijin. Not saying Shesshomeru couldn't have pulled it off in his human and demonic forms without the sword as shown by sheer speed of being offspring by 2 powerful dog demons & not half. But Inuyasha's hidden power if only it could be controlled like Goku's great ape in GT wonder how far his inner strength and swordsmanship could go. He gets a considerable boost from this transformation.

The moment Inuyasha transformed I was like uh oh here we go again but then I realized oh he did it to protect not only his friends but especially Kagome because the leader of the bandits wanted Kagome but he didn’t get what he wanted thanks to Inuyasha. I was both scared and satisfied at the same time. The ending of this episode was so heartwarming to watch because when Kagome said to Inuyasha I know how you feel it shows that she cares for him and Inuyasha cares for her so much that he’s worried about transforming again to hurt her instead of protecting her.

I think that he is slowly caring for his little brother ever since he met Rin also I would think that Sesshomaru would act the way he acts because he doesn’t want to show his enemies his weaknesses which include Jaken, Rin, and Inuyasha plus his group of friends.

The only thing that I didn’t understand about him being in full demon mode was the tessaiga. If the tessaiga is meant to keep inuyashas demon mode “in check” why didnt he transform like this 50 years ago when he was still with kikyo? I’ve always wondered that!
