@@Dodong0697 It's the ethics. He could've just shown the original speaker, which he repaired. But he probably couldn't get it to work, so he swapped it for a new one. Which means he faked it. That doesn't mean you can't repair a speaker.

Com gasolina eu não fiz mas com thinner para PU se fizer uma fina camada quando seca fica transparente e leve. Usei para impermeabilizar uma fonte de água feita de cimento.

It s a cheap, low power unit and I ve never seen a hole like that on a speaker. It s usually just a tear and for that, you can apply some nice strong paper/fabric glue and it is enough. I guess he just loves the process of restoring things. 🫤🤷🏻‍♂️

Boa ideia, como quimico sugeria thiner 8100 ou acetona ao invés de gasolina, devido ao cheiro, secagem mais rápida e índice de solubilidade maior. Após o término eu sugiro selar o cone com primer de fita dupla face, porque contém resina epoxi dissolvida. Mas parabéns.👏🏻

Fiz um trabalho mto parecido com este, tapando um buraco em um violão, onde algo pesado caiu sobre ele e abriu uma cratera enorme em seu tampo, porém, é claro que ao invés de papel e isopor, utilizei fibras de madeira misturadas com cola madeira, depois dei acabamento e colei um papel contact por cima com tom mto parecido da madeira, ficou showw!!! Mto boa Idéia a sua, fica de aprendizado aqui pra nós!!! Valeuuu!!👏👏👏

There are many problems in doing that, you could damage the moving coil or the surround, but, above this, you will modify the Thiene-Small parameters of the speaker and, adding weight on one side, the moving coil is unbalanced. But, if you do it just to try, then put a little piece of silk over the hole, keep it in place wit a feb drops of cyanoachrilate glue, brush the glue all over the silk and wait until it is hardened. If necessary repeat to add weight.

Sono 30 anni che uso due casse da 70 watt rms a 3 vie abbinate a un amplificatore da 20 watt rms. Le casse hanno una membrana morbida, non ho ancora avuto problemi.

I’d use acetone. Gas has petroleum that doesn’t evaporate.
