Awesome vid! What is meant by "abandoned" in a google patent search? A patent in 2013 closely matches an idea I've been developing and I just found it today. It was abandoned in 2015. Is that idea now open to patent again?
@inventRight
@inventRight Жыл бұрын
You need to look at it very carefully. You must have something that’s new and novel compared to the prior patent.

@@gaggablagblag9997 You get a PPA (Provisional Patent Applicaiton). If the company wants a patent, you can upgrade to a utility patent. If not, you can do a deal and the grant of license in the licensing contract does not need to be dependent on a patent. - Andrew Krauss, inventRight Co-Founder

How do I get a company to give me a quote on how much I can potentially earn (like a yearly estimate)?
@inventRight
@inventRight Жыл бұрын
This can be discussed. But you can do the math yourself. If they don’t sell one a week there’s a very good chance it will not be on the store shelf for very long. Then count up how many stores they are currently in. It’s actually very easy.

Hello inventRightTV, I am in the process of working on a new sport, building the Prototype, and writing the rules and regulations. Before i go any further, i would like to say how much i enjoy your website. My question is, does your firm do copyrights and trademarks because i have found out, that you can not patent a sport. I have looked at all your videos, and maybe it's me over looking something where you did talk about this subject, but i just can't seem to find it. If it is my error, then i do apologize. I would like to know, when creating a new sport what does the new sport, must have to obtain a trademark protection, and copyright protection. I do have the players, and the officials, both in combined attire from other sports, and have the court design, from existing venues. As i said, i enjoy your videos, they are so helpful, and i know you guys are very busy people, but if sometime in the future, could you make a video addressing this topic. Thank you for your time, and any response would be great....P.S i also have a design " LOGO" in place.Take care.....

You need to pay the minimum guarantees. And that’s per year. It varies. Depends on the category and the potential business.
