Robert, that’s amazing!!! You had a simple problem and made a great solution. This has got to be the Best video that has reached out to me so far and is probably the one that will get me to contact them. If you all care to read, I have been working on a prototype (unrelated to your field) for the last year with $7,500+ in just tools and supplies to make it trying to get a presentable demo model to show on a sell sheet with proof that it works. After watching many of these videos, I have been going down the hard path just trying to do it all alone. Why am I making something so simple so complicated. Been trying to learn the injection mold process, circuit design with PWM, mosfets, reactance, motor control, battery balancing, electrical safety certifications, patenting, using fusion 360 and 3D printing parts, etc. I already have a rough working prototype but I think I have made the process far more complex than I should have. I have no idea where my fear comes from either. I’ll chase and drive in the biggest storms, jump in small planes and fly with total strangers, messing around with high voltage, go 100 ft in the air on a fire apparatus but my hair will start sweating from fear once I even think about contacting anyone about licensing a product. I've been following your videos for over 2 yrs now because I've been working on a idea witch at this point i have a working fully functional prototype, but this video literally made me book an initial consult with Dana Knowles one of your mentors. Firstly because I think is time to go ahead and put out there my idea with all the power, and secondly because I am in the HVAC trade like Robert here in the video. Just want to thank you guys for the work you do and thank Robert because you without knowing gave me the Push of confidence i needed to go out there and show what i can do for the benefit of the HVAC trade.

So I have a Prototype. As of this morning I’m an Inventor(Suck it everyone who ever doubted me) because I made it. I took my vision, grabbed the materials and tools and created it. The target audience loves it. All I need now is a sell sheet? the correct company to pitch my idea to? and self confidence? What about a sell vidya? What’s to stop them from stealing it?

Good for you. Go for it! Don't worry about your product getting stollen. It' can happen, but it's so rare. If you don't show your product to any companies, you will have ripped yourself off because no one can license it. Keep Inventing! - Andrew Krauss, inventRight Co-Founder

Can anyone tell me the amount of money I need to start. I know its $75 for a PP and $200 for an LLC. Is there any more expenses?

You'll need some money for a sell sheet and maybe a virtual prototype. Many people can pull it of for under $300 to $500 total for most products. Keep Inventing! - Andrew Krauss, inventRight Co-Founder

I’ve been watching your videos because I have an invention that I’m just about ready to shop around. I have a cheap but working prototype and just finished the my account with USPTO. I’ll be submitting my Provisional application and then my first contact will be a guy who got a deal on Shark Tank. Of course I’ll have him sign an NDA. Now I think maybe I need to contact you guys to discuss.
