Awsome video as always. I have a newaza question. Quite often in my club newaza starts with 2 opponents in combat base (kneeling on one leg while the other foot is flat on the floor) I can never seem to beat this position and very quickly get pinned. How do I get past this?

During newaza, pull your opponent forward and rotate them slightly towards the leg which is flat on the ground. (You may want to trick your opponent by pushing him in the opposite direction first for a more unpredictable pull.) You can also maximize it by using your adjacent foot to push the opponents knee back out (the knee of the leg flat on the ground) as you pull and turn them over to the ground.
