Now that the premiere happened, let me show how much I love this fight. Three opposing sides, Papyrus wanting to convince Frisk, Sans stopping them, and poor, traumatized Frisk trying to move forward. The attack aren't to hurt Frisk, it's just showing Sans keeping them form moving forward. And then for once, Papyrus's turn isn't to help Frisk side-by-side, but to oppose Frisk, and try to help them emotionally. It's a climax of emotions, as Frisk breaks down, and only the skelebros can break through. I love how the KR damage Frisk takes surprises Sans. After all, they're only lvl 1, but they still feel guilty, so that their sins still crawl on their back. It shows just how broken Frisk feels after having to see Undyne and Mettaton's fate, so much so that they weren't determined enough to reset over Undyne. But finally, they're ready to go again. _Let's do this right this time, partner._

Spoilers! I wasn’t expecting much but HOLY SHIT this just made my opinion on this Au even better!! I love the little detail of how all of san’s attacks are meant to keep you from moving (the Blue Blasters, Blue Bones, use of Telekinesis to throw you back to where you started and to keep you from moving. Hell, even when the regular bones were coming in, they either acted like boomerangs and disappeared or they sunk into the ground before.) Not only that, but at 9:30, san’s face turns into a shocked expression when Frisk was getting effected by KR. It seems he didn’t expect Guilt to be a causer of KR. Also, that ending... seems like both Mettaton and Undyne remembered it, even though Mettaton shrugged it off as a dream. While I do know Undyne DOES have Determination, and that why she remembers it, it’s quite suprisingly when Mettaton seemingly remembers it. I may have a theory onto why Mettaton remembers the events. When they were fused, their souls were infused as well. This caused Undynes Determination to to fuse with Mettatons. After Frisk resets, some of Undyne’s Determination lingers in Mettaton’s soul, meaning that he may also have some Determination as well.

Honestly what I really like about this is how all of them are trying to talk frisk down Charas regretting not opening up sooner and is trying to point out the lack of logic in frisks actions(quite literally at points) papyrus is sincerely trying to appeal to frisks emotions while at the same time throwing himself under the bus so they dont feel completely at fault and Sans is somewhat mediating not knowing the complete context but is still saying that blindly charging forward isnt gonna fix things and telling papyrus that neither him nor frisk are completely in the wrong given undyne tunnel visioning on killing frisk caused this whole mess its just really interesting the dynamics of all the characters bouncing off of each other its just so well written

This “Fight” is a first, second, and third person scene. Frisk is the first person, second is Papyrus, and third is you, the player (also its not in Frisks eyes directly the whole time) and they pulled it off well, especially the second person part. It's more of an inference from lines like "You think you are above consequences." and the general attitude and behaviour they display on the tapes and endings. This line came from posts discussing the early Narrator Chara theory. I have failed to locate them, but you can see a similar line in the Judgement Boy videos on the matter. Sorry for the confusion!

This comment contains SPOILERS. Watch the video first. And with that out of the way, wow (again). There were many things that I didn't expect here. First, I expect there to be more time spent on Toriel's home, kinda like in Undertale, but instead of monsters from the entire game, just Papyrus and Flowey (maybe sans). And another thing I didn't expect at all was a Sans fight. Considering Frisk doesn't really kill anyone, they probably wouldn't kill Toriel or do anything like that, so there wouldn't really be a reason for a traditional Sans fight (the only thing really hinting at this for me was that the track with the cute kittens had leitmotifs from songs related to Sans). I really like how you handled the fight with Sans, too. I don't even know how to describe everything at the moment of watching this video. All I can say is that it's probably one of the best fan-made Sans fights ever, if not the best, and that it's really cool how Papyrus's turn shows Frisk instead of Sans. Another really cool thing was the Undyne and Mettaton amalgamate. I can't really explain why, but it really caught my interest. The very concept of transforming some of the main characters into amalgamates is vwry interesting, and can lead to interesting situations. I kinda wish we had seen more of that, but I don't think there's really a good way to do that, it's for the best that they're back to normal. Looking forward for 11/28!

Like the above comment said, it’s a reference to Undertale. Basically, in Undertale it was the “password” that Sans uses to find time travelers/anomalies and give them access to his secret workshop in the game. I’m interested to see how it’ll be used in Inverted Fate though 🤔

@@KodiakKetchup Here's the differences i think would happen in the pacifist ending,when you spare undyne,you don't go for the fight option,but instead spare undyne until help arrives. Then,when papyrus and mettaton come into the core,their able to still save undyne.
