A welding machine is not a continuous power supply since it's cooling is not proper for IGBTs and transformer . Even welding is doings in pulse duration some time on sometime off.

Thank you. Concept is so clear now. Specially the gate turn on and off resistor section. Need help regarding 4612 8 pin mosfet ic for igbt drive. Ic gets short in 5 sec at power on.. Then smps goes dead due to short ic. Igbt and surrounding resistors r ok. Please guide. Don't hv oscilloscope

It will depend how the ckt connected and this is u are using to drive other igbt check first that igbt are ok or not also check the power supply given to this ic also the input trigeer to this ic if both are turning on at a time then it will short the power supply and ic will burn in few seconds You can send the circuit on my telegram

This is 20 amp igbt 1200v you can use but it will depent how much output current in transformer secondary then calculate primary current that is igbt wirking current based on that only igbt current will decide. Or have to use parallel igbt to increa current

This topology is slightly different then a typical half bridge topology. this kind of capacitor won't charge with DC therefore they do not act as voltage divider, c1 c2 provides path for the alternative poultry means if low side switch conduct, c1 provides path for the positive. if High side switch conduct c2 provides path for negative.👍

Kya aapke pass isolated oscilloscope hai uski hi help se drive pulse check kar sakte hai. Naya MOSFET lagane se pahle high voltage dc supply OFf karke 1. sabhi gate drive pulse check kr lo a rhi hai ya nhi 2. Complimentary pulse k beech me deat time kitna aarha hai. 1.2us sec ya jayada hona chahiye per depend karega kitni frequency per chal rha hai

350 dc to 220 ac inverter मे गेट डिस्चार्ज रजिस्टर 10k का लगा हुआ है और गेट on रजिस्टर 10 ओम का है जिसमें 60 वोल्ट dc इनपुट तक तो सही काम कर ता है लेकिन इससे उपर वोल्टेज पर igbt ब्लास्ट हो जाती है इसके पीछे क्या कारण हो सकता है क्या गेट डिस्चार्ज रजिस्टर की वैल्यू कम की जाए या कोई capacitor इस रजिस्टर के perellol मे लगाया जाए जेसे आपने video मे बताता है हालाकि मेरे वाला circuit egs002 module पर आधारित है

Sir aap ne capacitor bank ki value galat batai hai. Welding machine ka capacitor bank karib 1000 uf tak hota hai. Aap Violet colour ki pulse ko pink bata rahe hai. Q1 & Q2 ke across jo rc snubber laga hai wo transformer ke primary ke acros lagta hai. But it's a great effort you've made. Thanks.

@@rmjnm dear viewer please understand the topology and configuration of inverter in first video capacitors are DC bank in 2 video half bridge technology using 2 IGBT and 2 capacitors that less value capacitor will discharge its energy in transformer primary coil in first cycle and in 2nd cycle other capacitor will discharge and 1st capacitor will charge by dc bank. And this process is happening for each cycle of operation. Pls understand the topology and configuration and process
