I won't get into specifics, but in general, ETFs ( Exchange Traded Funds) are a better bet to invest in as they are a basket of stocks. So say, for example, you pick ETF A. ETF A has fifty stocks. A few stocks in ETF A could have losses on any given day, yet the others could have gains. You won't feel the losses as much but you won't feel the gains as much either as opposed to individual stocks because it is spread out amongst the fifty stocks. But as a long-term investor, it works for me. There are other factors you need to consider, your age, your goals, your risk tolerance, etc. Do your research and remember what works for others doesn't necessarily mean it'll work for you.
