Thrifty all the way. My favorite words are Sale and Clearance. I have always shopped at places like TJMaxx, Ross, Value City, and Burlington.

Splurge for important things, like shoes, bras, and underwear (Boody organic bamboo is awesome!!), thrifty and second-hand for literally everything else :)

I can not get over how expensive it is! Even the quality brands that are sustainably made and fair trade aren't that expensive. Do we know if it is considered fast fashion or if it's sustainable?? There are so many small businesses with high quality items that are less expensive

If Revolve heavily leans on influencers for advertising, it makes me think they're probably getting everything for free and then its marked up for customers, to recoup that loss.

In my country, they sell a lot of clothes that the website from the brand itself don't ship to here or is either very expensive to ship. Yet I didn't see a major price difference. I once both something from Alice McCall and it was the same price on their page as on the brand's. But honestly I don't think that the clothes would rise up in price because most of the time these prices are decided by the brand itself.

Gotta say that this is one of my favorite haul's. Loved every outfit. My favorite look was Madeline's last outfit with the black top and pink skirt. And love the black top that Sinead wore. I love a tie-up shirt.

I think they return most of them, that's why Sinead said she can't keep them. Sometimes (e.g. lingerie episode where it's difficult to hide) you can see that the girls are still wearing the clothes with the tags on. They do get to keep a few pieces here and there - usually Bridget throws in some game/competition elements in those episodes.

I have never heard of revolve. I assumed it was some sort of clothing rental company. Something like you get X number it items (depending on your subscription) to wear and "own" for 2 months or so and when you return them they are go around (revolve) out to someone else to wear an enjoy.

I'm an investment buyer with thrift finds a sale basics in. Here's the thing, you buy expensive pieces that last through seasons, the capsule wardrobe type pieces, but not pay full price ever for on trend pieces. A lot of these are on trend, but some are like the sweatshirt/pants people spend years seeking the exact right set. And the mustard skirt from Harlow is a great investment piece to accent.

Like for Ted baker I have a lot of them but most is bought with a discount on it even new collection. I just shop at a website I know that have that brand and do regularly discounts through the year.

My friend taught me this trick. Try it on without looking at the price. If you like it, give it the price you think it is worth AND would pay for it. If it’s over that price, don’t buy it and save money for something else. Really helps!

If revolve is expensive it's because the brands they sell are expensive. I've actually found dresses on revolve for cheaper than the retail price and around the same price that I would find them on postmark. So if you find it expensive - it's the brands.
