I know this video is ancient but you missed a very important detail: Krystyna is Ania's mom. The fourth video, "About beautiful Krystyna and her wonderful dream" is about her mother. SHE is the doll crying fake tears in front of all the cameras, not Ania. In a later video she can be heard answering questions about Ania, then she is told that she will be photographed for the local newspaper and she gets all excited, asking if she can get her hair and makeup done first. She also gives conflicting information about Ania, first saying she would never run away, then saying she thinks she ran away due to stress from university. Ania disappearing is a "beautiful dream" for Krystyna because everyone is suddenly giving her attention.

At first they thought she commited suicide, but then they found out that someone elso were involded in her death. She had choke marks on her neck and all of her teeth were taken out. That and the fact that body were far in process of rottening made the process of identification difficult. But at the end they identified her as Irena Kornacka.

The artistic value is pretty amazing. My take on the masks is how creeps become obsessed with surface beauty to the point they don't see girls as humans anymore... just dolls. Sometimes even the media that reports on missing girls is just as guilty because they usually just show one ideal picture of them and that's all anyone ever knows about them. The brief glimpses we see of the "real" girl in contrast with the mask girl definitely seems like how others view the same person depending on the perspective.

Im Polish and I've actually put an afford to read what was possible to read in her diary(in the hidden video). Aside from regullar teenage girl's stuff she mentions that she saw a man in the bus and that his weird look reminded her of the situation that happened wen she was about 5yr. Now - I might have missunderstood something couse it's really hard to pauze in the moment when the camera is focused enought couse whoever is filming the notebook goes fast, page after page, but I as far as I was able to read it - she has this weird memory of when she was little. She's not sure if it's real but in this memory she is in the croud (she's not able to tell if it was winter or summer couse she remembers that it was really cold but sunny at the same time). Then was the part that she explains (I think) where exaclly she was when that happend but it's really nearly impossible to read and I can't tell the details, so fast forward - she remembers some weird man with black clothes who was looking at her and told her in deep, strange voise (that she was able to hear clearly even tho there was a lot of noise around) that she has been choosen to (that im not sure but something along the lines of) help become a part of nature and than her mom calls her so the man tells her that he'll come back for her and than dissapears. So yeah, she wrote that she thinks it might ave been just a dream and that she can't remember that men's face as it is really blurry in her head although the man that she's seen in the bus reminded her of the man from the "dream" Then she goes about something typical like that shes going to go to McDonald's opening with her friends and that she's excided and few days after she mentions the man once again and she says that this memory kinda wont leave her in peace after she's seen that random guy she keeps thinking about it. i think it could give much more informations as it seems to be important and makes sense with the story showed in this channel so I decided to translate and share in this comment what I was able to understand from the diary reccording. Im really sorry for the grammar mistakes that I've probably made but as I said - Im Polish and writing in english it's a lot harder for me than speaking or listening in that language.
@greenmeadow91226 жыл бұрын
Also - there's much more informations there, she wrote that she was riding the same bus in wich she saw him last time, she's still convinving herself that it's just her mind playing tricks and that she's paranoid. Then I was able to see some more text connected to the man from the bus and overall situation, but the reccording goes so fast that it's impposible to pauze on well-focused handwriting. Due to that - I wasn't able to get the full story or even a piece of it, all I was able to understand is the overall that she keeps thinking about it. Than almost everything she says has something to do with the man from the bus and this old memory. She's confused and mad and thinks that is strange that she can't remember anything about his face. Only blue sky and that he WAS there, talked to her and was wearing all black. But the face is one, big blank. She sometimes talks about other aspects of her life but keeps bringing the guy from the bus. She wrote, that she was, once again, in this bus and got some sort of anxiety or other form of attack and then in her mind, once again, appeared the though of the man connected to the memory. It looks like she's slowly driving herself into some sort of madness or obsession, she would write things like ,,GET YOUSELF TOGETHER, WOMAN!!!" to herself. At this point it looks sorta like: ,,Day Month Year: [her friend's name] is finally healthy and we're planning to go to this new club (...)" ,, Day or dwo later: Im keep thinking about him, I CANT GET THIS OUT OF MY HEAD, I HAVE TO GET MYSELF TOGETHER!!!! [some updates for example that she was in the bus and blablabla]" At this point Im really tired of trying to read the diary and get some sort of contects so maybe I'll go back to it later.
@greenmeadow91226 жыл бұрын
I'd also like to say that the diary seems really legit, not like it was written by someone for the sake of a.. show? or whatever ,Magiczny świat Ani" were suppose to be.

Oh my God, I just noticed something. In Episode 4, during the radio broadcast sequence, the lady speaking mentions a 'Miss Matgotzata'. While trying to translate this, I came across 'Matgorzata' which is a French and Polish version of the name MAGGIE. And who else is named Maggie and is in a Polish web series? Maggie the Squirrel, from Kraina Grzybów TV. I also did the math and discovered that if Ania was 20 years old in 1993, and if Kraina Grzybów TV was started in 1988, like NE said in the Kraina Grzybów TV video, then she would have been around 15 years old. Maybe Ania watched Kraina Grzybów TV as a teen, and this made her start to feel disoriented and stop eating, as her mother says. Also, there is a theory that Maggie is a man. Could it be that she, or he rather, is the hobo in the woods that presumably kidnapped Ania? I don't know yet, but this is what I believe happened: Ania did watch Smile Guide, and became frightened by it, especially Maggie, who was the hobo in disguise. As the years passed, Smile Guide always seemed to haunt Ania, and make her feel disoriented, which in turn, caused her to stop eating. As she tried to find information on Smile Guide, she couldn't seem to find anything. She tried to reach out to see if other people watched it, and to her surprise, people did. One of those people, named Maria, remembered it so vividly, that she and Ania became close friends over the topic. Then, all of a sudden, Maria vanished without a trace. Ania is devastated which in turn, caused her to study Dutch, Maria's 1st language. She is then kidnapped without a trace as well. I know, this a really sketchy theory, but it's what I believe so.....

Well, I might be an uncultured swine, but as a Polish native I don't really get what you mean. After a century or two after Christianity took over people forgot about their original beliefs rather quickly, and for centuries Christianity (Catholicism to be exact) has been a crucial part of Polish national identity. For the longest time people looked back at their old religion as devil worship and all the mythological creatures that people remembered were stripped of nuance and relegated to your typical Abrahamic demons/fallen angels that go "ooga booga" when you're trying to fall asleep.
@psixi26685 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry? I'm Polish and I think you mean that religion *did* dominate the culture of myths and legends. Yes, Poland has a very distinct identity and I am proud of it, but it is definitely very tightly tied to Catholicism and in recent years, the wars and occupations. Polish fear is greatly rooted in the cold horrors of war and communism, as well as religious undertones and doom.

Crystal Jimenez alternate reality game. I don't know how to fully describe it, but it's when they make cryptic videos that supposedly take place in real life. You gotta solve them in various ways.

Uncle Squiddz it's not easy to wrap up. You get the arg going, you get a following for that arg, and it's getting bigger and bigger; it's hard to find the motivation to end it, even if it isn't fresh or has outstayed it's welcome.

One of the creepiest art films I've seen. I found the "fashion allegory" interpretation to be brilliant and insightful, as this piece speaks not only to the burden/quest to achieve the impossible (perfection- as you mentioned), but to the destruction of one's humanity and the negation of one's individual personhood inherent to the process of such a quest. Losing oneself- going missing- might be a prerequisite in some ultimately futile and deadly (whether or not a person's body yet lives-?) attempt to please another. Finally: perhaps it is ALL the girls in the initial sequence who are lost, bloodied by this(?); the crowd was likely all-girls for a reason. Or was being singled out- being "discovered"- the start of becoming lost? ☆ YES the "Fashion Allegory" theory is a good one!

@juxtra61136 жыл бұрын
There's footage of the inside of her empty temple, with flashback-style clips of her behaving oddly, rushing at the camera with outstretched fingers. It appeared that, after that incident, she no longer resided in the temple. Maybe she tried to escape with her unborn child? Doesn't explain why she started acting demented, though. Perhaps she was caught and "subdued" in a way that screwed up her brain.

Wow so much attention to detail. i'm not surprised many people think is legit!!Specially when they present you a newspaper confirming the disappearance. Well, as a designer I can observe that the text is completely fake. Look at the wrinkles in the paper, the letters don't follow those folds (the text is placed in a layer over the texture of the paper) and the ink is undisturbed by the stains. To achieve a similar image do this: Find a wrinkled paper scan it, then type everything you like and put the pictures. Put a sepia filter. The print and scan several times until the texts looks diffuse and pixelized You have to print it in good quality or else the bars of the printer will show. The scanning is what will make the "pixelized on the edges" effect. Other way entirely digital would be to blur the image a little, then sharpen the edges. Blur again then sharpen again.
@suk4honesty6 жыл бұрын
missymani I felt it was too artistic to be legit. Sure psychos can be artists but they're generally too consumed with their respective obsessions and delusions. Some of this was actually inspiring and invigorating on a creative level! I loved the cornfield scenes.
@马晨芳-y8h6 жыл бұрын
Actually there was found a new newspaper with similar text and picture, but some of the details in the text were changed, like, for example, what was Ania wearing the day she was kidnapped and her name - in the new version her name is Weronika. But I agree this is probably some art project, really good though!

The random frantic imagery seems almost like the interpretations of what people think is the reason for her disappearing. Like a twisted version of a “real crime” TV show where all possibilities are played out by actors, that might even explain the faces. They’re not really them, but actors who look similar to them, and are recreating the scenes.

Here's my take on this; When I saw this, the first thing I thought of was sex slavery, and kidnappings where young girls are sexually exploited, whether for money or person gain of the captor. (Human trafficking) I think this is a story about a very real phenomena- sex slavery. I think Ania was running away, like in the allegory theory, but ran into the woods where the hobo lived. The hobo happened to be the same guy that tried to kidnap her years earlier. Ania ran into the wrong area, and was soon put into one of his temples in the woods. There I think he sexually exploits them. I think the scene with the cameras and the crying doll shows that he films them against their will. He probably is the only one that feeds them, and they all have their temples, and they're completely isolated from the rest of the world. I think he uses them for his own sexual desires, and I think they're still alive. I agree with Kristinya's lust murder idea, because if Ania was a pretty girl, she was probably kidnapped and put into sex slavery. The constant images of flowers may symbolize being deflowered. Flowers are also common symbols for sex. The dolls may symbolize how the missing girls are used as sex dolls to the hobo. This reminds me of a lot of kidnappings in the US that have led to forced sex cults.

Four clicks and I'm back home in the nice and dark part of youtube. This is my first ARG vid but I already have a theory as the symbolism here is pretty slam in your face. 1: Ania is singled out from a crowd of women, meaning she was "selected" 2: Cut to the corn field, with it reapearing so often one has to assume her final capture took place in one. 3: Mask Ania is laying on the ground and a flash cut to maggots on flesh. This represents the beginning of her "transformation at the hands of "God" or creepy nutter bum, either way. 4: Mask Ania sitting next to a helpless mannequinn, then "Ania Creep" switches places with said Mannequin in an, I am her she is me sort of way. 5: Manic movement back in the corn field, representing "the hunt" of the real Ania in a corn field. 6: Fresh meat, then maggot covered meat, again representing before and after his handy work. 7: A predator spider carrying off it's prey, pretty self explanatory. 8: "Human body is atoms and molecules, you die and nothing changes." So he made himself a doll of the real Ania after abusing her on camera for an indertminate amount of time. 9: Serial Killers often get God complexes due to the ability to snuff out a life or let the victim live at their whim. 10: two women kneeling in front of a man with two skulls next to him. I believe this represents two dead victims and three living, two female and one male captive. Also two sparrows flying towards one another represents reunion, as in a reunion of a destroyed human Ania and a transformation into "Doll Ania" in the reunion of the captor and his "possesion". Also sparrows represent God's love so a double meaning here. The sun represents, "God" (Our Villian) showing up and making things all "Beautiful" by bringing their deaths and transforming them in his "light". Then 5 total skulls, again fairly self explanatory. The sixth victim is represented by the opportunity murder with no transformation and the body being engulfed by nature. 11: More skulls and "shrines" in the woods, representing the capture spot since having outdoor shrines for the "dolls" would not be pratical for 6 victims going on 7 particularily with Polish winters. 12: Real footage of Ania and a boyfriend taken just before he "pounced" also introducing our male victim. And giving us his motivation to capture right then and there due to this guy interacting with "HIS" doll. 13: Splashes of red on all around her on people, representing the killer's feeling that Ania is surrounded by evil and only he can "rescue" her with his "love"... Anyway I may be way off but again I'm new. This is a phenominal channel and I will be enjoying the rest of this thoroughly. Subbed and Belled! Cheers 🍻

Knowing that it's part of an ongoing story/arg, it creeps me out considerably less than if this was just one of those random internet videos, or something discovered on the deepweb.

19:25 I think it's actually a clip from Pierścień i Róża, a series that aired in Poland in the 80's.

I love the imagery of this ARG, it reminds me of an In Utero era Nirvana music video.
@crimson17185 жыл бұрын
That's just typically 90s. Not related to nirvana at all.

How do you know it's an ARG ?

Reminds me of every film shown on a backdrop behind grunge bands in the early 90's.

Theory #1: This seems like some kind of project loosely based on another *actual* disappearance. I highly doubt a Mother or anyone else that has mysteriously lost a loved one, would produce something so artistic and subliminal, due to the fact that the baseline of this isnt without difficulty, to decipher! Not exactly what you'd want to do to draw in help in solving this case. Theory #2: This video series is produced by the actual capturer/murderer(s) putting it in a similar category, as Silence of The Lambs, which is no more described as... totally fucking insane!!!

Another video on a polish series ? Holy shit man! Thank you so much for bringing light to these projects to a not polish speaking audience ! I recently told my roommates that you made a video on Kraina Grzybów and they also were pretty happy to hear foreigners are interested in it. It's really inspiring, you know ? Btw, I love how this and KG feel so home-like and familiar, the poor quality feels so nostalgic it actually adds to the creepiness for me. Poland has a lot of very dark stories to tell, perhaps one day we will be able to tell more of them to the world. Pozdrowienia z Polski
