For the Corey Feldman pool table scene It's a still from the movie Satan's Bed made in 1965, the woman is an unknown and younger Yoko Ono. It was made by Michael and Roberta Findlay, who were notorious for the particularly rough sexploitation films they produced in the 1960's. As to why it was put in there, I couldn’t tell you. Edit: as I was in a hurry to type this out I made the mistake of saying it was yoko ono, I’ve been corrected in that it’s actually Findlay on the table and yoko comes in later And thanks for the likes and comments💪😊

The calm tone in Christines voice is chilling. Knowing what shes about to do theres no fear or hesitation in her voice, only determination. That’s the voice of a woman who’s certain that she doesn’t want to live any longer. She’s not afraid to lose the life she hates. It’s disturbing on another level. Rest in peace Christine. Plus, her "boyfriend" sounds more like a sex trafficker to me. She was 8 months pregnant and 18? So he impregnated her when she was NEWLY 18 at the least, and was "escorting her" to meet up with craigslist Johns? Yeah that's pimping. A 31yr old man impregnated a barely legal girl and then trafficked her. Good riddance to him.

Some of the most depressed people wear the most beautiful smiles all the time. Humans have to push change or the growing evil in our world will win. There’s no coming back if it does. I’m not old but I’m older. I can remember being taught that when you ask someone how they’re doing actually mean that question then actually listen if that person needs to talk. How are you is now a flippant greeting that receives an almost programmed reply. I’m fine or I’m good.. How are you? We are losing the very thing that makes us human… our humanity

He would occasionally do puppet shows at my local rec center in Florida that my grandma would take me to as a kid. The wild part of the Noah's Ark story is that Michael Curtiz (pronounced Cur-TEEZ) wasn't some small-time Old Hollywood director. We're talking about the guy who made Captain Blood, Mildred Pierce, Robin Hood, White Christmas. This is the director who made CASABLANCA, for god's sake. He was nominated for six Oscars and won two. The most horrifying part of the story isn't just that extras were accidentally killed; it's that they were killed due to gross negligence at the beginning of one of the most respected careers in Hollywood history. That's how little their lives were worth to Hollywood and the movie-going public. Killing them did pretty much nothing to affect his career, and despite the deaths involved in filming, the film made back twice what it cost.

The fact they cut out 35 minutes of the scene means everyone had been struggling against the current for AT LEAST 40 minutes… think about how terrifying that is. How could they know when or if it was going to stop at any point? I feel like after 10, definitely 20, minutes into the shot… majority of individuals realized they were completely helpless. I’ve never been able to fathom this incident. It’s one of those things I can’t ever fully understand WHY and HOW it was allowed to get to that point, regardless of the time period. It’s a torture film in my opinion. Even though it’s just a scene, the length of it qualifies as a tv episode. Whether it was connected to the Noah’s Ark film or not, he should’ve been prosecuted for literally torturing people and recording it for his own gratification. There’s no way any behind the scene employees encouraged this to last 40 minutes, there’s no way they would be okay with shooting such a dangerous stunt for such a long period WITHOUT PROFESSIONALS. I can’t express how much my heart hurts every time I see a snapshot of that scene…

Yeah, it must have been on par with the Toybox killings but at least with that one you could comfort yourself in knowing that it'll be used to put the killer behind bars. In Brooke's case on the other hand the killer decided to take the easy way out and you're just left sifting through the aftermath.

Brooke Slocum’s case is extremely depressing. It wasn’t hugely famous and occurred well into the online age so when you google her name it’s very easy to find her old social media (twitter, pinterest, etc) and they’re all abandoned as if she’d simply forgotten about them in 2013-2014 and gone on with life. She even has a pin labeled “Baby and future stuff” with an engagement ring in it. She was so young and had no clue she would end up being another horror story about internet safety. I honestly hope the footage is never released. I think she deserves that little scrap of dignity in death, that will always be more important than my own/others’ morbid curiosity.

For people who don't know Corey Feldman, he has a long list of projects, but many know him as Mouth in The Goonies or Edward in Lost Boys. His story has come forward in more recent years, telling of him and another child actor who were sexually assaulted and raped by many high ranking figures in the entertainment industry. Corey Haim, the other child actor who was sexually assaulted alongside Feldman, went on to struggle with addiction until his eventual death from pneumonia in 2010. Many attribute his struggle with addiction to the abuse he endured as a child. Seeing that creepy clip placed into a music recording of Corey Feldman, in post production, doesn't sit right with me.

Born in 72, it brings back so so many fond memories of growing up and being so interested in anything tech and especially video game related. My dad would bring me to the local shopping mall that had just opened in 74, give me a few dollars in quarters and I'd roam the mall playing arcade games that were, before the arcade, scattered throughout. Once my money was gone I'd browse the Sears and Woolco toys and electronics departments and sometimes spend an hour in Radio Shack hoping someone would load a game into one of the PCs on display. Sadly a lot of those people are also good manipulators. Its how they get close to people both adults and kids. And its even worse that they're so unassuming, most people dont think "oh my friend of two years, the guy that offers to do a puppet show for my kids isn't a bad person." And its true MOST of the time, like 99% of the time they are just normal people being friends.(i refused to perpetuate fear mongering) these creeps will then use and steal that good and use it to do horrible things.

What absolutely kills me about Christine was that her death was avoidable. Apparently she'd been very open about how she wanted to end it all for a long time prior to this, and no one believed her. No one took her seriously. Is it any wonder she did it in such a public fashion, when no one believed her pain?
@paradoxal4

Mate, it’s no one else’s fault that she killed her self. She did it to her self. People can’t watch and predict her every movement, thought and idea. If’s and buts are nice after the fact… but reality is, she killed her own-self. People are not superheroes like in movies, we can’t dictate and save everyone especially if they are dedicated to offing them-self.

@@Papacarrot while this may be true in some circumstances, there are some people where once they’ve made up their minds to end their own lives, there’s not shit you can do to change it and that’s just the sad fact of the matter. Not everyone can be saved and people can only get better if they WANT the help. I’m speaking from personal experience, my best friend ended his own life in 2014.
@paradoxal4
@paradoxal4 Жыл бұрын
@@Papacarrot Exactly mate, it’s not something you can control so what makes you or anyone else think other people could have stopped her, when it is not controllable, as you said… Only a professional (psychiatrist, gp, psychologist) could have helped her, but even then people still end up killing them-self. So if professionals who are trained and experienced in dealing with this can still not put a stop to it, then we can’t expect the average joes of life to SAVE or STOP someone from committing suicide or from being depressed. These are clinical conditions and people should not feel guilt and be blamed for not saving a suicidal person. You made a random assumption saying I think that depression is just inside the head but I am stating the opposite. That these conditions are clinical and very serious and the average joe can not save and stop someone from it. If someone has made up their mind to kill them-self then it’s almost impossible to stop them.

I don't know. It still generate alot of views. But many websites with disturbing stuff, audio and have been shut down but from 1997 to 2005 anyone could have access to theses quite easily. Censorship wasn't a thing back then and it was surface web. When Facebook and KZbin began to be a thing, they begin to censor and going after others websites with disturbing content. Because in the early 2000's kids began to have more and more access to the web and many parents started panicking. So now some of that stuuf is still available but you have to search specifically for it. I remember all theses events happening because I was 22 in 1997.

There was one I remember in the 80’s from Fox5 in NY. A voice came over the nightly news and the voice said something to the effect of “Fox is my M-Fing channel now” in a sinister voice. The reporters seemed unaware of it. It turned out that it was a local prankster, but my cousin and I were watching and it was one of those “did you hear that?” moments where we thought one was somehow pulling a joke on the other. I’m with you on the sick stuff being lost for good, though.

Christine in this embodies the red flags very well. The extreme happiness she showed in the beginning after months of deep depression is where you pull her aside and grill her on what's going on, and the vague desire to do something "different" is the moment you lunge.

Christine's story was always so depressing for me, because I've been there. I used to work in journalism, and people don't really understand how unforgiving and helplessly disheartening each day is working in news. I couldn't take any more, and so I quit and I've since transitioned to teaching, but my heart goes out for her because I've felt her exact pain and she'll always have a place in my heart. I hope she rests in peace.
