The helicopter reached at least 184mph, meaning it has to build that speed up, so they were flying straight at the ground and the people on board had enough time to realize what was happening.

Yeah bc they say the pilot was trying to climb above the clouds bc they were too low to track once the helicopter makes the left it then suddenly starts to fall so once he made the left he crashed into the hillside then went down so MY question IS WHY did he make that sudden LEFT as he was trying to ascend above the clouds bc it's obvious he couldn't see nor was he able to be tracked so WHY NOT go straight up to where he could possibly see better and/or be tracked BEFORE making any sudden movements. I can't make sense of that to save my life!! They keep carrying on about how the pilot had thousands of hours of flight time and ALWAYS took safety VERY seriously but this incident seems to contradict that!

@@anthonycabassa2619 I FINALLY found a video that had MORE details as to what happened. It's STILL unknown but for whatever reason the helicopter dropped 350ft within 6 seconds, made a sharp left then crashed into the hillside at 167mph. 😢😢 which would mean they ALL died upon impact of the hillside, long before they hit the ground and I think the helicopter also burst into flames from the initial impact hitting that hillside. It's SO awful but at the SAME time gives me a bit of comfort to know the crash happened before ANYONE was aware of what was about to happen and that they died instantaneously within seconds. Of course it happening at all is awful but it killed me to think they were all alive as the helicopter was going down KNOWING what was about to happen. That REALLY would have been an unimaginably horrific way to die.

KGS 1925 yes true but watch what they just realeased 12 minutes before theirs video of him in the dense fog slowing down trying to find his way while communicating with the command tower. Then he decends above the clouds and then goes into a left turn and sudden descend at 2,000ft per minute for most likely two minutes and even if he gained control again and slowed down it wasn’t enough to stop whatever it was that happened. He even went to speeds close to 180 mph. He came out of the sky line, scaled a mountain by 20-30 feet and hit the hillside. We don’t know if this was done on purpose, or an accident, or he was having mechanical issues. It all happened so fast and we have to assume as he fell, he lost communication with the tower and once he got to low they couldn’t track him on their radar. I’m sure he tried to communicate but knew he couldn’t if this was indeed electrical or mechanical. As well as including factors of weather and poor visibility he was blind sided. Could of friend out much different without the bad weather and thick fog. Also, w at h out for fake news on this one. As far as impact is concerned they were basically cremated on impact and hopefully I pray the bodies aren’t horrific And disfigured and if so cremation would be in order instead of a casket burial most likely. My prayers go out to all the victims affected and in this terrible tragedy. My only guess is after watching all I could and researching, the flight was flying fine and no indications verbally of any issues with the plane, which makes me wonder at above the clouds where at this time was still too foggy to see, did they hit a big bird which messed up the engine or electrical objects, as well as The helicopter going down that quick a speed has to make us wonder was it weather combined with engine or electrical issues. It doesn’t seem like pilot error to me. Ara Zobayan tried to clear the cloud layer. However the fog was so thick (in both height and density) that he reached an altitude where the helicopter stalled and began a terrifying free fall into the mountain side.

@1:23 What that says to me and I'm no expert but that sounds like when he took that left the pilot was all the way disoriented. Why else would he be going 184mph into the terrain(unless some mechanical issue had taken place). The fog had him all messed up. Smh.. RIP to all. Also my other observation when Burbank had him on standby for those 12 mins because of air traffic and then made him go northwest(I-5N then to the I118W), unfortunately the visibility got worse as he was heading south to try to get the visual of the 101. He tried to turn back, banked a left & got disoriented.
