I am Egyptian and I disagree with what you said about money being easy to move in Egypt. This is inaccurate. Egypt is very precarious. Before it used to be dangerous to be in Egypt if you weren’t well connected or weren’t a foreigner. Now it doesn’t matter. Even foreigners are no longer immune. You could find the government confiscating your USDs or not allowing you to bring USDs in the country The government can and has confiscated land people have held titles to for decades because they want it now and people lose their land and have no recourse. I recommend anyone who wants to invest in Egypt to first visit and have lived experience there. As an Egyptian living abroad, I honestly do not want to invest in Egypt because I don’t know if the rules will change tomorrow. I am looking to invest in other countries and definitely not Egypt. Edited to add: my parents have bought several properties in Egypt and each one has had issues of them being swindled or cheated and there is zero recourse and zero government oversight and basically no law and order

As someone who really love Egypt( I have visited 4x, last time was April 2022)I must admit im really impressed with your video.If things were different, it`d be one place I`d love to invest in. that`s wishful thinking,I`m realistic enough to know that as a black woman I will not be comfortable living there full time, I`ll stick to visiting and spending extended holidays there,but i have really enjoyed watching your video.

Well made video with extremely good alysis of the property market in Cairo. I have worked there and lived the for sometime and I can confirm everything in this video is spot on. I have visited many properties and compounds in Cairo but never had the change to visit developments in the new capital, which I wil certainly do next time I visit. Also a little tip, check out investmanet in the Red Sea and particularly Hurghada, very upcoming and fast developing market (although well know to the local ex-pats for years now).
