Thanks for uploading this video as I've always really admired Warren Buffett. Best couple of things I learnt from Warren was to buy index trackers e.g. S&P 500 and having a good good temperament as an investor. My wife has a much better temperament than me - she invests in index trackers and good stocks and just leaves them. My temperament isn't as good as I like to keep on "Poking" my investments. She always does better than me even though she invests in the same trackers. I'm not so convinced about value based investment these days though. I've analysed companies that seemed to have been undervalued with consistent revenue, profit and equity growth and they carry on to perform badly. Bit puzzled about that one!

At the start of the video, the interviewer says he met Buffett 20 years prior to this interview. i.e 1968 approx. BRK.A ended the year at $37. If he was so impressed by the young Buffett, a $1000 with him would have turned to $16MM+ in 2024. He was sitting right next to a Gold Mine. However, there are many stories of people who invested in young Buffett & made huge Charitable donations later on.

I agree with Warren Buffet. A blend of different ETFs is my favorite way of investing. For example, you could have some covered call etfs for dividends and other etf`s for growth. A combination such as : JEPI , DIVO , QYLD, SCHD and JEPQ. You have to combine them according to your own personal situation. I tallied my dividends for the previous year; $102k. Bear and bull markets offer great opportunities. I used to discredit people who made money in bear markets until I did it myself. The US stock market is currently experiencing a long bearish season but if you zoom out it's actually a bull run as the market always comes around, so it's understandable that people are panicking. However, there are opportunities if you know where to look. With the help of an investment advisor, I made over $250k in profit last year.

I grew up in Vicksburg, MS parentless from age eleven. I did have an advantage: God gave me a logical mind and discipline and the opportunity through the stock market to obtain financial security by investing all my net worth in Berkshire Hathaway 30 years ago. All I had to do was to control my emotions and wait. Now at 82 years old financial stability was being my partner providing the necessities of life. Life is simple when your decisions are made with a rational and logical mind. Emotions must be coated thickly with discipline and logic if one expects a secure life. If security means nothing spend every dime you have but be.skilled In begging for money to sustain your life. Throw your pride and dignity down the drain that place where you placed your money.
