Tesla is being outflanked by Arm and a whole bunch of other challengers. Tesla acquired an omnipotent self-image too soon. Musk has often said: "prototypes are easy, manufacturing is hard". So if he'd heeded his own words, Tesla might have been much farther along right now (more models, more mega-factories...) by concentrating on their proven strengths (OEM), and left the FSD to dedicated developers.
