I’ve had majority of my holdings in tech stocks and irrespective of market changes, I’ve done pretty well especially with apple’s P/E(price to earnings ratio) gaining over 30% this past decade, now my questions is what stocks do you think will be the next apple in terms of growth for the next decade.

Because Apple has surpassed the competition, it may be difficult to locate the next Apple inside the tech stock industry. It is best to look beyond technology stocks.

Well things are different now, same market strategies applied over last decade wouldn’t apply to the current market, so to actually figure out how to outperform the market and stay afloat for the next decade, you should reach out to a financial advisor, that’s how I’ve managed to properly diversify across the right asset classes and gained over $450k in profit this past couple years.

Your information is alway so on point. You should have 1mi followers, not 85k. 100% agree on the assistant take and the mention on Clayton Christensen research (I'm a programmer working on an assistant product now). I'm a paid community member as well and I have a percentage of $ allocated to follow your EXACT allocation you do on the private community and you have outperformed everything else I have.

I finally agree with you on moving some to cash. I'm seeing the distinct possibility of a pullback in SPY to as low as 435-ish before June. I'm not getting a full set of sell signals yet, so I'm not shorting, but taking some money out of the market seems prudent. Should rally hard after that, though. Could be 535 by year end.

Think of the end of the lockup period mid of March combined with the freefloat of around 10%. There are lots of reasons why this might just be short term highs.

there are better AI plays than ARM. the only reason the stock ran up so quickly is because Softbank owns most of the shares. The rest of us are fighting over the few shares they allowed to float.

I would say for the Innovator's Dilemma to work you would need the incumbent (in this case Google) to be disincentivized in some way from investing in the new technology (AI) allowing the new player to develop their technology unimpeded. You could say that Open AI performs slightly better than Google Bard in its current incarnation, but you can't really say that Google are asleep at the wheel and resisting investment in AI so I don't think it really applies. I would argue Toyota's reluctance to invest in EVs is a more clear-cut contemporary case of the innovator's dilemma

Don’t forget Softbank owns 90% of the shares and the lockup period is almost over. My guess is that they are taking some profits.

In some circumstances when a company is taken public, certain shareholders with a large vested interest in the company (majority shareholders, insiders, IPO underwriters, etc) have a period of time where they cannot sell their shares after it goes public. This is to prevent those with a large stake to sell off for a profit immediately after the company starts trading as retail investors come in and inevitably increase the stock price. In ARM’s case SoftBank still owns 90% of the company and their lockup period ends this month. Meaning what they decide to do with their shares could have a sizeable impact on the price short term (for reference their position in ARM has increased 73 billion in the last 6 months)

Have you checked out the SBC on this. Its 20% of revenue 77% of free cash flow. Not much returns for investors and management is sucking the money dry out of this stock, based on that, I wouldn't touch it.

Enough to boost their gross income X45 to compare against their mkt cap of 134B? Right now their revenue is close to 3B against 134B. Do you think they can hit, hell, even 100B in yearly sales over the next 5 years with a profit margin of 20%? Not to mention all the competition flowing in over the next 5 years? That’s what he means. Perfection is priced into the stock to the 10th degree and just waiting for a nice rug pull on retail investors down the road, which is what Wall Street is best at 😅

@@theyomie5482 1. They are already doubling prices of v9, 2. There is no close competition within the solar system, do some proper research, 3. Tech stocks are volatile regardless of earnings multiple. If you like a value trap, go buy a bank. Good presentation once again, but poorly researched at best.

We have heard the big investor started to sell today… it’s supposed to drop 60% over the next week. We have all agreed to short it and watch it crash. You do what u want.. the company is worth around 35 bucks a share.. decent company.. just not worth 130 a share.. do your research

So SoftBank owns 90% of the stock… they done tried selling it for 40 million a couple months ago .. but people are buying these 10% of the stock for crazy prices… why wouldn’t SoftBank just sell them and make the 140 billion now and leave these others with the bag lol. Think bout that!!!

it won’t ....they have some of the biggest customers. apple. samsung. nividia. google. this isnt some pennystock that went from $10 to $90. if you have a cell phone, ARMS infrastructure is inside it.

It’s up 10% again, still impressive after such a bullish run. Most of the big tech stocks tanked shortly yesterday then gained today. Nvidia just revealed a stake in Arm valued at $147 million so I guess they see the value in Arm.
