Is this the same process for a 2009 Civic Si Sedan? Where did you purchase the q300? What is the part number for the q300? Is it 110mm?

Yes this would be the same process for a 2009 sedan. I actually purchased it on Amazon just be sure that you are buying the q300 for the SEDAN and not the coupe because they are different lengths. Here is the part number for the sedan HS06HC4G3S. Piping diameter 70mm tip diameter 110mm.

I did start to notice a rattle after about 45 minutes of driving when hitting bumps. Did some research and noticed that this is common problem and can be fixed with some newer, stiffer exhaust hangers for about 10$. You will also notice some smoke coming from your exhaust and a burning smell with the first few drives. This is normal and will go away after a couple of days of driving, just some of the oils being burnt up inside the exhaust.

when i bought my 8th gen si, it was straight piped (that was the only mod the owner did) so i replaced it with a skunk2 catback + headers, and it sounds wayyyy better. i hated the straight pipe

Still need a new exhaust header and high air flow exhaust. Then you tune it, other than that, the exhaust is pointless besides being noisy.

Azkaar It's not though. I have owned Tsudo(Super loud and way to much drone with the 110mm muffler) Skunk2 rr( Still to loud for me and a cop magnet) q300 70mm not 76mm(louder than stock but quieter than most aftermarket Cat backs). This exhaust sounds great when you want to get on it and if you stay under 3k rpm your able to avoid police
