I dont understand the 'Thaedus is the mole' theory. Why would he be informing against his own organization? He could just surrender the federation to viltrum if he wanted to be with them. Why put Allen on your own trail? He didnt suspect a mole until thaedus told him to find one. Thats like Palpatine telling anakin to investigate the possibility of a secret sith in the upper levels of government.

amber never had a problem with Mark being superhero or neglecting her over earth's safety. her problem is with the fact he was lying to her and being bad at it (mostly first part but second part did not help at all either) its one thing to say "sorry honey, i am forced to choose to be on time for our planned dinner or save the planet" but instead he says nothing, bails, and makes terrible excuse followed by empty promises that it wont happen again. It is not that she was unreasonable and unsupportive of his superhero life. its about mark refusing to tell her about it, so she was never put in situation to choose between being ok with it or not.
