It was a good episode but the previous eps kinda eh in terms of action so Im beginning to think they weren’t holding the show back to finish it up but holding it back so people will keep their prime subscriptions while amazon does the scumming tactic of making us pay more money for add free rather than have the ad version free and pay for the ad-free version. I’m going to assume the following events that will happen in Season 3; Oliver’s character development especially with his powers manifesting, Mark and Eve’s relationship building up, the epic battle with Conquest, the Invincible War, Nolan and Allen breaking out of jail, and Nolan’s redemption arc.

As a comic book reader, this finale did satisfy all of my wishes. And I cried after hearing that final line, even went back to the specific issue(s) and... as I expected... that line wasn't in the comics. SPOILERS FOR S3 AND S4 OF INVINCIBLE: SERIOUSLY. DO NOT READ IT IF YOU WANT TO STAY CLEAR OF SPOILERS: The series really improves on Nolan's character arc and I'm all here for it. It really adds to his future reunion with Debbie and his family and the series will likely show us a much more vulnerable side of him once he makes his apology. It will only make me cry harder in S3 or S4 once that scene takes place, but my guess is that it will happen in S4.

All in all season 2 was good but I liked season 1 better. I think they just have a lot of characters and can’t really cover them all. I’m pretty sure Debbie being on board with the parallel Marks being evil is new. I’m pretty sure that it’s his mom’s influence that’s what’s keeping our Mark anchored. Also Oliver not existing in other universe either because Omniman never needed to go to Thraxa or he went to somewhere else like the Mortal Kombat universe. Oh and we saw sinister Mark which is wild I wish we could’ve seen Mohawk mark too.

Season 2 is more of a set-up part of the story as mtiple plot points have been put in motion this season and all of them have big pay off. Honestly I do like season2 more so far. Mark was more of a happy go like character in seaon 2 while here you have him going through it.

I didn’t feel like they tied the villain into the story well at all. He did nothing the second half of the season, then arrives out of nowhere because its the mandatory season-end battle. Way too much time focusing on Mark’s relationship with Amber just for them to (finally) breakup. Also Monster Girl just randomly changes her mind about wanting a solution to her aging problem despite yelling at Rudy and cutting him off every time he tried to talk about a solution. What the hell happened to this season. Parts were good, but overall it was not the same as season 1

I love the fact that Debbie, Nolan and Mark have a bruised eye, although it doesn't make sense for Nolan and Mark to have one for so long in the first place, the little detail is better in this situation, even if it doesn't make sense

Season 2 didn't have a sense of direction of where the story wanted to go. They introduced Sterling K. Brown character just for him to have a senseless death at the end of the season. I thought he could've been used better. After the first half of the season, I was expecting more but there was a lot of pointless dialogue between characters that made the entire story feel kinda slow. After 8 episodes expanding 40 mins each, they should've done more to push the story forward. This didnt feel like a 8 episode season.

Great finaly and liked how this episode especialy Mark's realy enemy is himself aside from Angstrum that he fights inner fight with himself not become like his dad or other Viltrumite's which is also foreshadowing what he will have to face in future aka the invincible war alternative versions of him self. The other thing is that Omni-mans (Nolans) redemption begins.

I think when the guardian went in the future they also teased the robot storey line as I think it was actually Rex in the suit. Eve calls him Rex

They may go in a different direction, but in the comics, Rudy changes his name to Rex after Rex is heroically killed. If you look at the age difference between him and Eve, it would make sense if that were Rudy with a name change.
