Welcome to the Heavy Spoilers I'm your host paul and with invincible season 2 now wrapped up I thought we'd look to the future. Season 3 is currently being worked on and we know that there's a couple of episodes in the bank. Steven Yuen has confirmed that the next series wont have the delay and I can't wait to see what happens in it. Throughout this video we're gonna go through the comics and talk about the main stories that I think are gonna come.

Now the first thing I wanna talk about is how we left season 2 with Nolan confessing that he missed his wife. He and Allen end up escaping and onboard the ship they also find battle beast. Such a cool character to have pop up in the prison and it all goes down in Issue 55. That has Allen constantly being scheduled for execution but this ends up actually empowering him. As we discovered what doesn't kill him makes him stronger and thus the constant executions have just upped his strength.

I’ve always felt that in addition to advanced age, “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” is the key to Viltumite strength. That’s how Mark would be able to hold his own or surpass older Viltrumites later on in the story. All of the horrific things that happened to him bring him to the threshold of death without killing him. The healing process then builds his body back even stronger. Most Viltrumites would be killed outright over the course of their history, thus plateauing their considerable strength.

I like this but I read somewhere since mark is human his adrenaline gives him the feeling of near death so that gives him extra boost idk if I’m saying it right I read it a couple weeks ago but it kinda would make sense like the human side of him makes him a stronger than full blood viltrumites if I’m wrong I would like to be corrected so don’t hesitate to do it I would like to know if this is true or not

I think a nice touch would be that his half human heritage would seem like a weakness at first, But because of that human determination, Heart, and sheer will... he can push his body further then any pure viltrimite can.

I believe S2 took so long cause Amazon never greenlit it until S1 was half over. so they had to start from scratch. they are already in production on S3 and are tossing ideas around for S4. I believe they used S2 as an epic setup for a huge 3 season arc (3, 4, and 5 to close out the series.)

Season 3 will probably cover: Oliver getting powers (42) Oliver developing his powers Mark and Cecil (49-50), they probably won't adapt the Seismic fight in 48-49 Blue Suit (51) Oliver killing the Maulers (52) Mark and Eve relationship Dinosaurus Intro (68) Powerplex Intro (59) Ka-Hor (whatever they're doing with this, show only) Nolan-Allen Breakout (55) Nolan-Allen Missions (66-67) Sequids 3 (68-70) Invincible War (60) Conquest Intro (61) My guess is the actual Conquest fight (62-64) will be the premiere of Season 4, with Issues 65, 70.5 and Viltrumite War (71-78) being the big events. It would probably end on 79, with 80 kickstarting the Dinosaurus arc for Season 5. It's possible we see Flaxan events for Robot/MG in Season 4 or 5

I thought Season 2's finale was either going to be Conquest, or the Prison Break. The fact that they drew things out, even taking time out to do the tomb scene again, long enough to just end with Anissa, with a warning of Conquest.... it was kinda disappointing. So I don't think we'll get that much next Season. I want to believe that we'll have conquest, and the prison break, and then Angstrom comes back with the alternate Invincibles and kicks everything off, but from what I've seen of Season 2, I doubt we'll get that much. Invincible war will be the next season 4, it'll be set up at the end of Season 3. I don't mind them taking this much time to do things, if they really show the details of it, or expand on details of it. For example, if we get an entire episode in Season 5 with Thragg fighting Battle Beast, I'm all for it.

One thing I want to see is a the boys diabolical anthology spinoff. We get one off or anthology seasons. Each one could have episodes on invincible universe characters. We get the origins of the main guardians members like Robot, Monster Girl, Duplicate and Paul, Rex Splode, and the Cecil origin for season 1. Season 2 we could get the Guarding the globe characters, potentially tech jacket, brit, wolfman, and most importantly kill beast.

hot take but i don’t think we will get the conquest fight in season three unless they majorly shuffle stuff around i reread issues 51 to 61 where i think season 3 will cover. the main point are we need mark training with cecil and doing some hero work before he gets the black suit so that could be ep 1 (also oliver’s powers getting revealed) locked down but not out is really a free space so lets say ep 2, i’d say that’s like 50 to 80 percent of an episode episodes 3 is oliver first fight and a tease to cecil’s reanimen (issue 47) episode four is the mark vs cecil fight and doc seismic stuff episode five: would be mark getting his blue suit and the reveal of kid omniman, also what to do with the guardians after the cecil fallout, maller twins set up episode six: potentially mark and oliver vs the maulers but that could also be episode 5, the main plot is the debate about morality episode seven: would be power plex and the future twins, monster girl getting her belt and angstroms being revealed if not sooner to be watching mark episode 8 is the invincible war/ aftermath issue that leads into conquest. okay so my timeline of events is really wonky but my point is so much needs to happen before the conquest fight and i didn’t even mention the titan gang war or duplicate brother stuff. also idk if any of you saw but a skybound character model design leaked on reddit and was token down. it showed brit, wolf man, half exoskeleton Donald like the comics, mohawk invincible, lonk hair invincible injured, mark and eve doll bodies, and mark having the cast thing on completely disproving my theory as they had episodes 307 on them

I don't think they're gonna kill Rex in season 3. the way he ALMOST died but somehow survived & learned to be better from it, I feel they're setting up how he will survive that comic moment. He's definitely going to die next season bro, his death was teased a lil bit when Mark was stuck for a moment in that alternate universe after the fight with Angstrom. When the older version of the guardians rescued him and we saw an older Rudy who we know stole Rex's dna to clone his body for himself, he grows up to look exactly like Rex and adopts Rex's name after he dies in the invincible war.

I hope we get thos crossovers or character appearances in season 3. We got a space racer and a geldarian cameo. We got a cameo from Punch Girl and Kid Thor in the finale. there was implications that wed see astounding wolfman. But its likely will get that for Mark and Cecil fall out. Hopefully we might get Tech Jacket. However its unknown or likely we get Brit or the international members of The guardians of the globe from guarding the globe.
