Your story is super common. I think they tell people the shorter timeframe so it’s not as off-putting. Not exactly bait and switch, but a little close to it. Thanks for the video. I’ll look at your previous videos too

Thanks for watching 💜 I am still in them as I write this - getting close to a year & a half now after I was told just a year 😆 But they are not charging me more (for all extra visits and time with the doctor) - so I will keep at it. I honestly just hate the buttons on my teeth all the time - even if they are clear - can't wait for them to be off 😄

My sister was told a year - took 2 years! when I talked to the ortho I told him this he said yes 2 years for you also. I said is there any chance it could be less. The assistant laughed. That tells you a lot!

I think the orthodontist likes to give their patients hope that it could be a shorter treatment. If your ortho told you two years, hopefully it won’t be longer - but overall if it fixes the problems then I guess it will be worth it. Thanks for watching 😊 I hope you found this helpful. 🩷

I am on my 3rd trays. I was told 18-24months, so I hope to finish within that timeline!

Hi Carrie! I hope that the Invisalign treatment works out for you and that you will be done around the estimated time they told you. I was told one year but I am now getting close to two years with it 😂 Adult teeth are not as easy to move. But the fact that I have had great results so far during this whole treatment of mine - I am super thankful!!

I totally agree! My daughter got braces this past year. They are doing it in two phases and she will get braces again in a few years when all her adult teeth come in. Apparently the 2 phases works better than the old way when we were kids. But they offered Invisalign for phase 2, but we want traditional braces. Great review!

I know the phases of braces is something I hear about a lot more now. My daughter is going this whole other route (Mio Brace) that is supposed to be the new thing! We shall see!! Thanks for checking out the video 😊 What happen to your channel. I went to it and all the video have disappeared?!

I had braces 45 years ago. Technology has changed so much. It was like having a construction site in my mouth. I am glad that Invisalign is working out for you. Have a great day.

Thank you kindly Gasper! Defiantly technology has come a long way with Orthodontic. It still is a pain to get teeth fix - but it probably is a bit easier now than it used to be 😄 Have a blessed day!

@@walkswithholly4610I’m on the same boat. After two different sets of treys, now I need third one cause nothing is going as planned. First it was 31 treys (stopped at 24) then new 24 treys (stopped at 14) and now have to go get scans for third set of aligners…

I could do a future video on my Invisalign routine - how I put them in & take them out, care for them, etc. (let me know if that would be an interest for a future share). As far as an extreme close up and details of my back molars - I regret to say that would be very difficult for me to film (and really get the detail you are talking about). I do all my own filming and that sort of thing would be hard for me to film. Sorry. I do appreciate you watching and I hope this was helpful! 😊
