Finally a better way to construct this card. I have not liked any of the cards I made because of the fact that the pop up doesn't always work. I just decided not to make anymore. I will give this method a try. Thanks for sharing. I love your videos and projects!! Hugs! Carol

As a creator I had to come comment on your tutorial style, you are blooming fantastic my crafty friend, the way you explain everything and your voice and how calm and down to earth you are it’s fantastic. I haven’t played with paper crafts for 7 years due to rheumatoid arthritis, in that time I’ve made soaps and bath bombs etc. Recently my hands have become more usable thanks to medication and I’m delving back in right now, so far I’m playing at home without the camera on to see get some fun out of it and figure out what I’m doing, so much has changed in 7 years, looks like I’m going to have to invest in a die cutting machine! Thank you for this video and all the videos of yours I’ve been watching lately. You have a great style and you are clearly very talented. I am learning lots from you 💖

Great tutorial, I made one using acetate a few months ago but I did a steampunk version with most of the base uncovered so it looked like the inside of a clock. If I make another one I'll definitely use your washi tape tip because it did try to slip as I was cutting. Your beach themed ones are so cute! TFS.

Have watched this tutorial several times and want to give it a try. Do you know what weight of acetate you are using? I notice it comes in .003 and .007 . Would I want to purchase the .003 card weight or the .007 stencil weight? Love your easy to follow directions. Thank you so much for presenting these wonderful projects.
@nancyludlum2646
@nancyludlum2646 4 жыл бұрын
I would avoid the .003 acetate. It is extremely thin and it tears. Wish I would not have bought it. The .01 acetate might be a little thick for this card (need to test it out). Wish I knew if the .007 acetate would work.

Did you use DS tape to adhere the mat paper and, if so, does it show on the underside? OR did you cut white mats for the bottom? Love this idea with the acetate. Thanks for sharing it.
