I Love Love Love this technique for joining! May be an extra step but totally an easy & confident way to get the job done! It certainly beats all other complicated and confusing techniques I've seen so far. Wish I had seen yours first! Thank-you for sharing! Happy to be able to have my crochet to look clean & neat.

Thanks so much, I am at the moment making granny squares from all my small left over 8 ply wool, which is looking good, they will be made into vest for the cooler weather, I am undecided whether to line it or not, will decide that later on, but your tutorial will make my finishing of all the colours I am using will make the insides of each square much neater. You joined in the wrong stitch...you should have skipped the stitch you used and used the next one. Your method makes your stitch count incorrect.
