Excellent tutorial. I'm going to try to adapt it for Tunisian crochet which I enjoy using. Thank you.

Why doesn't everyone do this? The chain foundation is so gross! 🤢

I cannot figure out what the "stitch at the bottom" is. This is easy to do, or would be if I knew where to insert my hook each time.

I know this is an older video, but I wanted to say my sincere thanks of gratitude!! I’m 55 and my granny taught me to crochet at just 5 years old, by age 10, I was pretty good!! Anyway, so fast foreword to now and I’m doing market bags and wash clothes, etc…. And this is an absolute game changer!!! This will save me hours and hours. Thank you so very much ❤️💕🙏🏼❤️💕😭

Somehow my work is still curlying like when your foundation chain is too loose and your first row too tight. Any advice anyone? Thank you!

Thank you will try it . I crocheted for many years. But stopped a while ago. I made 3 afghans for Christmas gifts. It was a struggle because had done any in over 30 years. Now being older and having bad arthritis in my hands and shoulders and neck . It was a stressful. But I got them done. I got in genealogy and have done that for 48 yrs. Need to try to crochet again. Happy Holidays to everyone.

Really?? “you did not help”??? 😂 She actually explained this perfectly. If you’re confused, try slowing down the speed of the video, using a loose crochet-tension and practice, practice, practice. If you’re a beginner, it may also help to work regular double crochets for a while until you’re really comfortable with them…THEN, try a double-foundation chain. 😁😁
