This man gave me the shoes I'm wearing on my feet right now. He's a good man. Homeless people have hearts

Ya know I think the age old saying "treat people the way u would like to be treated"REALLLLLY speaks volumes !u say this man gave u a pair of shoes..I truly beleive all my heart n soul alot of theese homeless people have better hearts then alot of people wth homes I'm not the best wth words n such but here is something to "ponder"if you or me anyone of us that are not on the streets ..imagine the senerio. Are you the type of person (if u had NOTHING..would u give a person something that u had like that saying "that person would give u the coat on his back "I'M SERIOUS...think about it. How many of us that if we were in dire situations would we offer another person something.... For real in today's society unfortunately it's not just "keeping up with the Jones"...it's basically "keeping up"and the day and age and "what time it is" is really SHOWING PEOPLES TRUE INTENTIONS" I wanted to phrase it as "SHOWING. PEOPLES TRUE COLOURS "but unfortunately in today's "cancel culture everything a person says will offend one person or another etc etc blah blah blah )but yu know how it goes (people that r really awoke to "what time it is )(I feel stupid phrasing it like this but it's kinda the only way I know how anyhoo what I'm trying to say is that alot of theese people that are "homeless"in my opinion have a better FN home within they're own heart/mind that alot of materialistic" so called "human beings"have n it really breaks my heart that we live in a kinda "upside down world "so to speak where good is bad and bad is good anyone out there that understands what I'm trying to say? Even if there is t god bless. Everyone the best thing I can think of leaving with my "rambling comment "lol is "TRRAT PEOPLE THE WAY YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED!!!!AND NO MATTER HOW FUCKING SMALL OR HOW IRRELEVANT YOU MAY THINK IT IS BE FN THANKFULL FOR THE SMALLEST TEENIEST LIL THINGS THAT U CAN BE !!nehoo people I just felt called to write this ...(ps anyone who wants to leave ANYTHING EGATIVE. From what I said (I guess it just goes"along with how I'm feeling n matches up to my mindset)...bless yall everyone🤗🤗🤗xxo

He has one thing right...the system is broken....I’m a social worker for homeless for 22 years in Toronto and York region...if you meet him again tell him to look to LOFT Community Services on Toronto St in Toronto. It has several housing with support programs....some for addiction, mental health, physical health issues, mental health and justice lots of programs and the housing lists are not 10 years...I wish him well....

I was homeless in Toronto briefly and tried to sleep at Seaton House shelter and two guys in the bed next to me were smoking something out of a pipe in the dark. It freaked me out so I left in the middle of the night and found a stairwell to sleep in only to be kicked out by a security guard. I spent the rest of the night on a park bench. Thankfully it was summer.

I honestly understand. I just moved back from living in taiwan for twenty years If I wasn't staying in my hair with my hand uncle, I wouldn't know where to go. I don't know how people live in california the cost of living is astronomical Or public transportation sucks. I found a service called access. I have PTSD and Cerebral Palsy It's a bus service that comes directly to your house. I can use this for long trips. I would love to just take uber a lift but it's just too expensive I lived in Taiwan. You could take ubers and lifts for a third of what you In california. Like if I could go thirty minutes and pay fifteen dollars that be reasonable. But one trip is like twenty five dollars. If you've got income coming in sure no problem.

Joseph's a lovely genuine man and he's a real survivor against the odds. Joseph was the way I was when I was HL but he is older and truly wiser. I was young and VERY ANGRY that I was outdoors. I could not understand what made people be so hateful. I was not asking for much a room, place to sleep, job, and somebody to love. Usually you secure one to get the other. Job don't want you if you are HL if you are HL you usually can't get a Job so you have to lie and say you have a home. Then you find out they don't want you if you don't have a job either so you either have to lie about having a job. When you lie about having a job and about having a place to stay then they will give you a job. Back then they did not have cell service every place. I did not have the means for cellular. I had to get the job show up ready to work and work my ass off when I got work to insure I was the guy they wanted for the next day. Keep your head up Joe get your hands on some stuff build your own micro camper even if you have to tow it with a bike you will be better off than dealing with them power hungry control freaks that control it all.

Fahrenheit is a silly scale which is why very few countries still use it. 0 Celsius is the freezing temp of water at sea level which is equivalent to about 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Kelvin is used in science and uses the same units as Celsius with 0 Kelvin being the absolut coldest it can get (-273 Celsius). Yes, I am nitpicking and this is about homelessness, but stuff like this tends to irk me. Of course that's nothing to the problem of homelessness. In whatever scale we use, it is too cold for a human to be without shelter. One of the first things you learn in survival training is to find and secure shelter, water and then food. I am always amazed at the resilience of these folks to survive with little to no shelter for years

Forgotten everyone!!!!! Video after video of homeless people this crisis has been going on since I can remember. The poor will die because the "Majority" do not care, do not see them, they get home shut their solid door and lock it. Remove their shoes and walk into their warm quiet home, with a bathroom and a soft place to sit or lie down. While so many...just cry until they cant cry no more and they pray until they just cant pray no more they drink until they just cant drink no more.....they die because no one cares anymore....Jesus is our only HOPE, because here another rules and you see what he has to offer.

This guy looks like a mirror of where I’m gonna be this winter, my landlord is lying saying she wants to move into my apartment that I’ve lived in since 2012 so she can double the rent, I don’t do anything wrong and always pay my rent so she has to use the renoviction loophole. I was tortured and abused in every way imaginable for 8 years in foster care and I’ve had a safe apartment I’ve been reasonably okay with minus the fact my landlord is a lunatic and doesn’t do repairs, but if you set that aside it’s not a small place or some kind of hell hole for and for the last 9 years where I’ve been slowly putting myself back together from all the abuse and possibly by December I’ll be having 9 years of progress pulled out from under me and end up like this guy. I don’t have the patience this guy has tho, I’ll give them a month to set a guaranteed date within 3 months I’ll be getting a private decent and reasonable 1 bedroom apartment with all inclusive rent I can afford or unfortunately I’m going to have to go to jail. I am disabled and can’t work so unfortunately I’m fucked if this psycho landlord wins
