For all those who are interested, His full name is Dennis Kyle . If you give his name in KZbin search, you'll find a number of his past singing and acting performances . During or after Corona he again faced tough times due to which he launched a fundraiser on GoFundMe in 2021. People did help and he collected more than his target.

I wish I realized this when I was still homeless. But you really have lots of stuff you can do. Make a list of all the places in your country you want to see, and start hiking. You won't have this opportunity once you have a fulltime job and bills to pay. At least not for many years. Take temp jobs, use that for your hiking supplies, a tent, campsites, etc. Buy a cheap acoustic guitar. Teach yourself the open chords and learn some simple songs. Playing on a corner is not the same as panhandling because you are providing a service for tips. You can, and probably will get in trouble if you just fly a sign, it's technically illegal.
@Mephilis782 жыл бұрын
@@justxho When I was homeless I fully understood that the disdain people show was the result of how other homeless people in the area behaved. Most of the "fellow" homeless people I met were horribly selfish and entitled people. I saw one of them literally assault a man over a single cigarette. I'm sure most of them are still homeless too, because they refused to do the things necessary to get out. You can't just spend all the money that comes into your hands. That's what most of them do. Especially in Orlando, they all just got high on molly and didn't seem to care if they ever got off the streets. So having this attitude, that the normal people who are literally doing what they need to not to be homeless themselves, are somehow obligated to help you, is part of what is keeping you homeless. Nobody owes you anything. Also consider that you, most likely, are not the *only* person asking them for help. There are other homeless asking for the same things. There may even be family asking for help. Just because they don't help you, right this instant, when you ask doesn't mean they hate all homeless people. This is an incredibly selfish viewpoint. This brings me to very biggest piece of advice I can give any homeless person: stay away from other homeless people as much as possible. They will hold you down. They will want you to share everything, so that you always have nothing. They have no remorse or guilt. In the off chance you find another homeless person who actually wants to work as a team, and pull their share, good, but it's impossibly rare.

I have a homeless friend living with me since November 2017. I saw him on the street emaciated and dirty. He was sleeping in a garage. I have a sun room back of my house so with a twin bed, a new shaver, food and a place to shower he is surviving and thriving now. He has a small job at a good restraunt here. It's not easy as my personal space has changed but I could not in good conscious left him where he was. Human beings were meant to demonstrate love and compassion, to love. Put your money where your mouths are folks. Stop talking a good game and live a good game. Help someone up. Sorry Dennis damn hard I know.

@TheFallsCapone He stated he doesn't have addiction issues. Not all homeless folks are drug addicts or alcoholics. He spoke about him self mostly, because the interview is about HIM. And maybe he doesn't have much family? There are a million reasons why one could be estranged from their family. I only speak to my mom, and don't not have a relationship with any other family members. It has nothing to do with drugs/alcohol or crime. They are just horrible, toxic people. And as far as friends go, maybe he doesn't have any friends with the means to help him? You cannot judge a book by it's cover, and certainly can't prejudge him based upon a six minute video. Like he said, people deserve a second chance in life! I wish I was able to contact him and help out in some way!
@bhumphries13606 жыл бұрын
@TheFallsCapone You are right that you cannot always believe what you are told. My brother is a drug addict and has been homeless many times because of it. For a long time I would give him money when he would ask for it, because I always felt bad for him and didn't want to see him go without. But then it got to the point I realized he was just using the money for drugs. And when he asked for help, I told him to tell me what he needed, and I would go buy it. He completely flipped out on me because of it! His addictions have destroyed our family. I know you've got to be careful about being too trusting. But, I can assure you that not ALL homeless folks are addicts. I have met a few here and there. And sometimes folks can be a victim of circumstances. I met a woman and her daughter living out of their van. (In Indianapolis, IN). The mom had been laid off work, and slowly but surely they lost everything they had. I had twenty bucks on me, and gave it all to her. I've always wondered how they were doing.

I NEVER ignore a man or women in legitimate need. Even if its just to sit with them for a while and listen. Give a cigaratette, make a phone call, acknowledge their existence. Most of the time I can't afford to help myself but I will always do what I can. Always.

Basically being a movie actor has nothing to do with art or simply the desire to practice a form of expression. Cinema is always the same as itself by the Lumière brothers age: a bit of cheap amazement . EvenByzantine icons are more dynamic in content ... Cinema does not represent drama, it is a drama itself even when movies are comedies or romantic stories. Movie actors are either evil magic pipers for unwary or unwary people lost in a nightmare that mingles with daydreams of fame, wealth and sex: that’s the tragedy.

I think for some, they have a distorted view that homelessness is because of irresponsible behavior, such as drug and alcohol abuse, or failing to conform to societal standards in seeking employment. This is true in some cases, but not all. When someone homeless approaches them for money, they may automatically assume the individual will use it to support their drug or alcohol addiction. Unfortunately, genuine homeless people without these ulterior motives will be denied help because of it. I know sometimes it is difficult in discerning who is and not honest in these cases, but it is good to have a heart that a lot of them are in need.

Agreed with all except the cigarette, which is the most hideous, destructive, ugly, ocean and air polluting trash, an addiction that causes homelessness. It's the one case where I don't give a dollar: if the person is smoking when they ask. On all other points, well said sir and I agree.

2020 was the worst year of my life. I had a good job in Sydney Australia, living by myself and my cat, saving money, working out everyday, saving for holidays..... One day I got so sick I ended at the hospital.... Blood cancer diagnosed... I thought I was going to die.... I lost so much weight and probably I needed blood transfusion... In the middle of covid crisis..... Then I got fired from my job, I couldn't work as I was extremely sick at the time.... Four months later I got a little bit better but I was still underweight and had anemia.. I took a flight back home as my savings were going down fast and if I didn't act quickly I will end up dead at the hospital or homeless. Right now I'm doing better, living with my parents as I'm still recovering but when shit happens, it happens very fast.... Also my partner at that time didn't help me, he left me too... So I lost everything, my savings, my job, my financial freedom, my independence, my health......... The worst year of my life!!! I still have some health issues and I'm broke but at least I'm alive.. 🙄

The saddest part of this video for me is seeing an honest guy just talk candidly about how he has got to where he is. He's not putting on an act, playing for sympathy, or anything other than just describing his situation. Most people assume bad habits have landed people into a world of homelessness, and as this guy has just said, it can happen without warrant and to those who were once living a 'normal' life. I have experienced homelessness. It's the constant thinking you have to do which wears you down. Where is the next meal? When can I use a bathroom next? Where can I find somewhere quiet and dry just to close my eyes and get some rest? I pray to God this guy, and others who suffer similarly, can find hope to start with and then possibly the answers to get themselves back on track. I've been fortunate enough to be able to get myself back in a solid job and relationship, but really wish that for others who have gone through, or are currently going through, a similar experience. Don't judge, just be considerate and help whenever you can. It means the world to someone who has nothing. ✌️❤️

This guy’s positivity deserves respect. The fact that he still could maintain his composure while doing this interview is just… wow. I was homeless too when I was 17. When my dad got remarried, the lady kept whispering malign words to my dad and essentially telling him that im useless and good for nothing. Eventually, i got sidelined and ended up on the streets. Was earning about 300 bucks a month at that time, had to pay for food, transport, phone bills and rent. And my dad’s new wife, claimed that 300 dollars is ample amount of cash, and she couldn’t understand why Im not saving. She is essentially just looking for things to pick on. Great to see a guy going through the same shit; and still able to keep his head up high. Cheer up man !

This is a situation ANYONE can go through when you have that avalanche of unfortunate events and literally have nowhere to go, no friends, no family to really look up to. I've noticed those going through the hardest situations often have good spirits on the outside, but surely it's rough emotional turbulence inside. This is heartbreaking but I am thankful that there are channels such as Invisible People that show individuals what is really going on with those in need in the world. Humanity is out there, it is just unfortunate that it isn't shown as much as hate is. Notice the wishes are rarely ever selfish in nature? Cure of deadly diseases. The end of homelessness and poverty. World peace. Bless this man.

But you are never the same person and of course you never stop mourning your dear loved one. I still talk to my precious boy every day. Rather miss parts of me taken from cancer treatment too. But it is amazing how resilient we can actually be. Astonishing, really. Will be going for a walk in my son's honour, with another bereaved mom, an hour from now. We talk about our sons and what we can do to make them proud and to keep their names - histories- memories alive. I hope this guy in the video has recovered some of his old self back and is comfortably housed and employed and happy. Bless him. His adversities will have made him a better actor and an even more compassionate person. Bless you ASMR Pink Cashmera. May your life be good. ❤

@ASMR Pink Cashmera 💕 Bless your beautiful soul right back. And my friend, I am so sorry about your mom. I have to admit to some tears for you but also of self pity here. My partner has Parkinsons. He is doing ok right now, but our window of opportunity of doing fun things is closing. And his friend who was diagnosed at the same time is doing terribly and we see their family going through what your's did. Each person with Parkinson's is different and it will progress at different rates. But it is still Parkinson's and we have already progressed so that life is not the same...but tolerable. Possibly two years behind our friend. Maybe we will be luckier. None the less, we do not have ANY family around to help us. It is just me. So sometimes I can't but think I am living the life of Job. That said, I am surprisingly strong for such a frail bodied person and I love my sweetheart dearly. Tomorrow night I facilitate a bereaved parent's support group. Wed I rest. Thurs I help someone who really needs assistance. Friday we will do something fun. Go for a hike or if nice a bike ride. My partner can still do these things and we need to make lots of happy memories to enjoy into the future. One step at a time. We just persevere my friend. Pacing ourselves. Bless you Pink Cashmera. @delia ratcliff I fully agree that this can and has happened to a woman. However from my point of view and what I have experienced, the overwhelming majority of these situations involve men and the court system leans towards the woman in these cases. If you take a look at the percentage of homeless people, it is undoubtedly disproportionate where the majority is comprised of men.
@sachinbahadoorsingh57254 жыл бұрын
@delia ratcliff yes that is fully true. Men are overall more violent in domestic violence cases. But that's not what I'm disagreeing with. What I'm referring to is specifically the financial losses and power that a man has in these cases. Yes statistics can be manipulated to sway to any side that someone wants. What I referring to is the raw data. The percentage of the population that is homeless that are male vs female. I also believe it's unfair to say that women are less financuaially stable than men. Women are just as capable and as strong as men. They have different strengths than men but that's not to say they are less superior. Men and women inherently both have different strengths and weaknesses and these cancel out. I believe that statement implies that women are less capable of being financially stable than men which not only is insulting to women but it doesn't agree with the numbers. If more men are homeless than women and homelessness comes from financial instability, I'd say that in fact men are more financially unstable than women.
