My top advice for printer is to get HP and sign up for Instant Ink where you pay for the pages that you print. I pay about £2.50 p/m and i can print 250 pages per month (forgive me if I've put wrong numbers but its still pennies comparing to buying ink for Canons). I try and do my invoices at the end of the week because it may seem a little but when you put toghether all the invoices + PODs from cx + occasional PODs from customers you end up printing 40+ pages per week and as much as its not a problem to print them it is an effort to get them grouped and stapled correctly (you dont want to mix invoices when sending to customers ;P)

i find it far easier just to copy the cx invoice info into xero. its then just a matter of marking them as paid when the £££ hits you bank account, you can then easily see whos's paid or whos late. The cx invoice layout is perfect for those windowed envelopes if you fold them correctly👍

The Mrs does mine, she uses an A4 book and inputs every job then highlights paid Nxt to the date due. Window envelopes save a lot of time buddy cheap as well .

I would suggest getting a laser printer, bit more expensive initially not stupid though. Think about £70 of I recall correctly, mught even be cheaper, but the cartridges work out a lot less.

Just started on the CX so learning a lot from your videos, thanks. If the invoicing is all done on the app, why do I need to send a paper copy as well?

The million dollar question. Some of shipper's end users want it apprently.Since Covid the instructions have become a pain! Some are happy with CX ans nothing else, some want e-mails, some want POD to one e mail address and invoice to another, some haed copies only.

@@willgeoffreys7238 no just read the notes properly. All instructions should be on the booking. When you are on the desktop version,go to diary, the relevant booking and click on order.The instructions are normally at the bottom.

One thing I wish it would do is once I've processed a payment on an invoice it would prompt you for feedback. Instead you then have to go hunting through the diary for the job to give feedback.

Hi mate I do believe if you press the 3 lines at the top right or it mite be under profile there is a tab called feedback that should make it easier for you to sort it out.

Tend to do it on a Saturday morning now but as a rule I do them as soon as is convenient so I don't have to ment to do at 1 time

I do personally because it stops any confusion. But all shippers require different thinks so it's not necessarily needed.

Better of working for a same day courier company. Get paid weekly. Beardy has to wait 30 days fro payment and after all that invoicing and filing and stamping palava
