Ok, this is how you bill for a one time charge. How would you correctly bill for a weekly or bi-weekly temp? Great video by the way! Thanks!

Hi Ben. Thank you for the great content. I would like to ask if you every had a company steal from you? What I mean by that…. is say you refer someone and the company interviews them and decides to hire them…but the company calls you and say I don’t like the applicant you referred. Mean while during the interview they tell the client that you referred not to tell you because the will give them a hiring bonus less than the 20% fee that your charging them?

Great question, - personally, not to my knowledge..however I'm plenty aware that this is an issue in the business. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING - Protect yourself via contract & keep amazing and continuous communication with your CLIENTS & CANDIDATES and you basically can't get ripped off...

How would the invoice change for temp to hire work rather than placement based?
@kavinada84813 жыл бұрын
Hi Ben, please explain this to me. I do understand gross annual income is the money earned before taxes and from that is where we get a certain amount paid depending on the percentage we outline in our contract. My question is, do clients also get billed for HST since it’s a service we are providing. Please explainThank you!
@BenNader3 жыл бұрын
Your clients nor you get billed for HST 99% of the time, although there are some geographic situations that call for this and you'll have to look into that, it's all location based and the tax rules/regs there.

should we add Sales Taxes in Texas?
@sambatiesto44072 жыл бұрын
What about sales tax? (On the invoice.. how do you calculate that?)
@BenNader2 жыл бұрын
Generally speaking, there's no sales tax in recruiting.

If your company isn't registered, for "bill to", do you just put your name?
@BenNader3 жыл бұрын
Yep, then you'll just be a sole proprietor for now.
